    Does using a qd after washing supposed to have any benefits to appearance? Im using megs wash and conditioner soap and its awful filmy when im done washing. Also waterspotty. I know i need to work on my washing technique. And I am. Still, using a qd for me really makes my cars appearance...

    If i remember correctly its because the pads large size + absorbsion of compound polish = the DA not being powerfull enough to turn the pad when you are putting downward pressure on the DA. The DA is not powerfull enough to (in most cases) efficiently operate with the large pads. Thats why...
