    Cleaner wax ??? Rookie Question

You will be fine to apply the Ultimate wax after the Ultimate polish. If you are using the PC you can use a white pad with ultimate polish and finish up with ultimate wax on either a black or blue pad. A cleaner wax is not necessary before the Ultimate wax.

Great turn out. The red paint looks brand new, not 16 years old. How did you like the lava wax? I was looking at getting some to try out.

    Best tire shine

Meguiars Hyper Dressing, 1:1 will give you really high gloss. I typically use 2 coats diluted at 3:1 and it lasts a long time. It comes in 128 oz. and is pretty cost effective when diluted. Biggest thing with any tire shine is to make sure tire is clean before applying, that really can affect...

Awesome turnaround! That Airstream looks brand new. I'm sure the owner was more than amazed how you were able to bring all that shine back.

Dr. G's Recipe For Shiny Paint - Optimum GPS

Optimum GPS works great, it is what we use for our most popular package. Very happy with the results and for an AIO has pretty good durability. I got about 2 months of protection on my personal vehicle. But it all depends on the person maintaining the finish. I had let it sit without washing...

    Pics from my first job

Boat is down at the Ocean. We will be going back down in August to give it another shot. Unfortunately, since the boat is a fishing boat and used regularly it already needs another cleaning. Picked up a small backing plate for the rotary to be able to hopefully get the pitting out. Also...

    Pics from my first job

Car turned out great! I'm sure the customer was thrilled. Price was good for you first customer. As you become more experienced you'll get a better idea for how long each job will take and how much to charge. Our first few details I think we ended up making minimum wage or less after...

Weekly Drywashed - 2 years and running - Sun Shots

Cars look good. Wash induced swirls are inevitable regardless of the method of washing a car whether it be waterless, rinseless, etc. Needless to say as long as the customer is happy with the results, that's all that matters. Not everybody is as concerned about swirls like us as they are...

Keeping wheels clean from brake dust!

Opticoat 2.0 from Optimum is one option. Takes a little practice to apply correctly but provides long lasting results and protection. It will help save time cleaning off the wheels. Unfortunately BMW brakes dust a lot. For a less permanent method try applying a sealant or wax to them. Hope...

Would you get this for a Mobile Detailing Vehicle? Why or Why Not?

We currently are using a GMC 2500 Van to detail out of and also feel your pain with fuel costs cutting in to profits. After doing this for about 7 months with the van I feel it is oversized for many of our jobs. But also have days to where your glad to have the extra space. I think the Prius...

    Hello from Maryland

I'm over in Severn. About 10 miles south of Baltimore. Are you close to all the expansion they've been doing down on Rt. 3? All those new lights are going to be a nightmare during rush hour.
