I'm thinking put it in the car and let it do its thing then come back the next day with the steam cleaner and hit all the high traffic areas. Has anyone started offering Coronavirus interior details yet? I need to...

How to remind customers to pay for a detail.

I'm sure this varies by state but what are our rights as detailers if someone doesn't pay? I have a feeling we would loose a lot of our rights after the vehicle is given back to the customer. I was told I have the right to keep a customers keys until they pay. Luckily I've never had any issues...

    Website ideas

That's actually pretty surprising that 85% of the views were from phones. I wasn't expecting it too be that high. I know i don't search the internet too much on my phone mostly for the fact that most of the sights are very limited on your phone. I saw that you can edit the site for the mobile...

    Rotary

What all products do you have at your disposal? A lot of the marine products have longer working times and are pretty friendly when working in sunlight. One thing to remember is the sun isn't going to be directly on the entire boat all day so plan according so that your not working in direct...

Taking calls while detailing a client's car

I'll always answer my phone when I'm on a detail, as long as i'm not buffing its pretty easy to multi-task. If i'm standing face to face with a customer sometimes I'll excuse myself and answer the phone other times I'll just let it go to voicemail. A lot of clients are business owners as well...

Anyone save rainwater for washing their car?

Figured i'd post an update, so far the rain water is working great. I got the tank moved inside and haven't had any problems with anything growing in it yet. Anyone save rainwater for washing their car?

I'll keep you posted, The tank it all filled up and I have one screen mesh filter installed. I was kinda worried about stuff getting into the tank as well thinking that if we were going to get a lot of rain ill let it rinse off the roof first then start filling up the tank but I don't know how...

    Pad size and recommendation

I would go and get the 3m quick connect pads and adapter, Its worth the money they have 2 different size pads you can get for it I believe they are 9" and 6" I can't remember for sure. For boats they have a wool compounding and polishing pad I would get both. Once you get comfortable with it on...

Anyone save rainwater for washing their car?

Maybe I won't put anything in it and see how long it takes for me to go though it or how long it takes for algae to start growing in it. As of now this is the only option I have besides bucket washing and that's not very practical when everything is covered in mud.
