How soon can I use a sealant?

There is a cure time for new paint, but you really don't know exactly when the car was painted vs when you get it.

    Foam guns or foam cannons?

I have both and they both have their place in my washing routine(s). If my truck or my wife's car are really dirty (most of the time lol) I use the pressure washer and foam cannon. If they aren't that dirty I use the foam gun (or if I just don't feel like pulling the pressure washer out lol). I...

Griots VS Adams Polishes // AND SPEED SHINE QUESTION

They don't want to provide free advertising for a competitor's products. If someone reads where Product X is used by people and then that person buys said product instead of something from AG they will lose money. IMO light comparison fits well into the "grey area" but I will not get upset if AG...

Griots VS Adams Polishes // AND SPEED SHINE QUESTION

I understand the position AG is put in with this forum. However, They would be ignorant to think everyone on here ONLY buys from AG. I don't think there is anything wrong with a LITTLE comparison. There is a big difference in promoting a product or brand not sold by AG and a simple comparison.

Griots VS Adams Polishes // AND SPEED SHINE QUESTION

I like Mike's response and I usually follow this philosophy. I enjoy trying out different products that claim to do the same thing. I usually end up going with the best price per ounce OR if they offer a concentrate. Example: I have been using Meguiars wheel brightener on my truck's wheels since...

What are the REAL benefits of a long throw polisher?

For the beginner I feel like cost is the biggest factor in making a polisher purchase. If my budget allowed me to buy a long throw polisher I would have. I'm all about working smarter not harder. My $50 Harbor Freight DA (2 of them actually lol) works great for me and the price fit my budget...

    Meguiars D108 separating?

Well, I let the jug sit in the sun and shook it up some more and it went back to normal. I guess it doesn't like the cold too much!

    Meguiars D108 separating?

I bought it from AG last July. I'm in South Carolina and this winter we might have gotten a few nights around 20F and not in a row. All of my other gallons are fine (Simple Green, Purple Power, MG Wheel Brightener). I'll give them a call and see what they think.

Window water spots = new purchase?

Here's a pic I took today. The spots aren't in focus but you can see them nonetheless.

    Meguiars D108 separating?

I noticed my gallon of D108 appeared to be separating. I took a pic but after I shook it up so it was more separated than this. I keep it out in my shed so it's not climate controlled. What do y'all think?

Window water spots = new purchase?

Thanks for the replies! I will try to get a picture of my issue. It seems to be old water spots. I bought the truck last year and it's a 2011 Silverado.

Window water spots = new purchase?

I am curious to know if I can use my current equipment to try to get water spots out of my glass. I have seen a few glass polish products and kits such as this Glass Repair Kit but I am reluctant to purchase even more stuff plus a rotary buffer (the kit suggestion). I currently have the old...

Foam Cannon Reservoir depletes too fast!

LOVE the Honeydew soap! It smells so good! I'm only halfway through my first gallon and I already have a replacement waiting, lol! I thought about mixing some Adam's soap with it since I got a free bottle a while back.

Foam Cannon Reservoir depletes too fast!

Agreed, It is all about the gpm and pressure of the washer. Quality of the pressure washer probably determines the consistency of the output from wash to wash, IMO. But I have only used mt Greenworks 1600 with my cannon. Quality of the cannon will certainly play a roll as well, along with...

Foam Cannon Reservoir depletes too fast!

I know what you mean. It's been raining here for a week (off and on lol). I get plenty of soap with the 3.5oz I use. But my next wash I will use more just to see how it does. I also do a 2 bucket wash along with the foam cannon, although I only foam once.

LC CCS vs. LC Waffle Pro

What about the Buff and Shine pads that are on sale this week? Ever use those? I'm all about saving money, but I don't want a "cheap" pad.

LC CCS vs. LC Waffle Pro

That is my plan, along with a second HF DA fitted with a 3.5" backing plate for a set of 4" LC pads. After doing more research I believe I will be getting the CCS pads. I like the you-pick 6 pack the AG offers.
