    Good OTC Microfiber Towels?

I've heard that SAMs club has some good ones but can't be sure. Pep boys and autozone are okay. I'd get the "bulk" towels on the 24 for $20 package and a couple of the plusher autospa or carrand towels that are usually stocked there and a waffle. The prices on the "premium" towels aren't great...

    Exciting news for me...

I've always enjoyed my Oakleys. Those renderings are pretty damn cool if you ask me. I've got a set of those glasses in a dark brown, i'd love a set in primer or even a dark grey polished.

    Intro and HEEEELLLPPPPP!!!

Welcome to Autogeek. I just finished a car that had a similar experience. I'm a relative newb to the hobby, done about 5 of my own cars over the years, and have done 5 cars for others in the past months. I used a PC to fix this stuff. As you mentioned, the photos dont do it justice...

Adhesive from sticker on new car

Yep.. works great. Just get it off as soon as possible. Goof Off is pretty good too. Or if you have a steam cleaner you can try that too.

What is this and can it be fixed?

I'm with everyone else saying that's highway roadrash. The good news is it is mostly just the bumper so a respray shouldn't be too big of a deal for a good paint shop.

A few tips on starting a part-time detailing business

I know its an older article but this was super helpful. I just did a 2013 GT500 Mustang with 300 miles on the clock, all swirled and scratched already for a "friend". I broke my back getting the swirls out, polishing, sealing, waxing and he came to pick it up and didn't nearly notice or...

Cyclo -Old Technology in a Modernized Package

Would you say the Cyclo can do MORE, less or equal paint correction than a Porter Cable ? I have a PC and i'm looking for something with some more "balls" to get out deeper scratches or work harder clears. I was thinking of a Flex but I like to be different.

    Makita BO6040 Removing Sanding Marks

Great stuff mike, that hood looks awesome. I'm actually looking to pick up a "practice hood" myself soon as I am starting to get more into it. I'm looking for a buffing tool that will do a little more "work" than my 7424xp and was considering a straight up circular polisher, would you say that...

Porsche 996 Turbo and Ford Thunderbird (both black)

Yeah it was really nice working on it. It has CRAZY hood chips etc but the softish clear made swirl removal a breeze. Meguiars 205 and a white pad on a porter cable took all but the real deep stuff. And yeah i was SHOCKED at the condition of the Tbird. I took Meguiars Ultimate and a yellow pad...

Porsche 996 Turbo and Ford Thunderbird (both black)

As it arrived. 10 years old, 122k miles. Deck lid Front fender SO ... what do you think? The owner of the Porsche dropped off his wifes 2013 GMC Terrain when they picked up the Pcar. And the owner of the Tbird is dropping off his 2013 GT500 Thursday night. Word...

Porsche 996 Turbo and Ford Thunderbird (both black)

I'm a "hobbyist" but these are the first 2 cars Ive actually been paid to do. I undercharged by a lot I think (i KNOW), but I just wanted to cover the price of some new product for detailing etc. The Porsche I only charged $100 and he paid $200 as a "tip" because he was so happy with it...

    Wax/sealent

I also am not a huge fan of spray waxes... i find them to be more of a pain in the ass then they are worth. so i just re apply regular paste or liquid.

    Wax/sealent

I love Poorboys EX-P. Or EX if you dont want to top with a carnuba after. Its super easy on, and super easy off. I machine applied mine, let it sit for 4 hours, then went back and wiped off easy with a couple Gold Plush towels (using soft side). I like poorboys because they work great, the...

2012 Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale

Wow. I've never been a fan of graphics on cars. But i LOVED that roof sticker. Did you notice any fading around the decals from sun exposure? I cant imagine this thing stays outside every day.
