Dawn Power Dissolver here, too. Spray let sit 5 minutes, agitate by hand, rinse thoroughly and then spin dry with rotary. Can be back polishing with that pad in 10 minutes.

Best? Difficult to answer...but I can tell you WG costs a lot more and 205 finishes out fantastic for me.

I also use NXT and Gold Class. I think they are a great sealant and wax. I've used some others and tell you what..I really couldn't tell a difference and they cost A LOT more. Meguiar's is priced right and can be found anywhere.

Oddly enough, I polished my 2005 Ram with UC and orange 5.5 with Griots and had a difficult time removing swirls. In fact..it didn't, even putting about everything I had as far as pressure, nothing worked. Went to 105 and they were gone. I had the exact same results on my friends Chevy 3500...

Ok, I contacted Griot's and they stated they would honor the warranty I would just have to send it in to them at my expense the 1st time. They would cover shipping any time after that should it happen again.

Got clarification from AG. Only valid for original purchaser. However, I have not yet contacted Griot's to see if it's transferrable through them.

Good point. My buddy originally purchased it from AG. If I get his invoice, are you saying the warranty should follow?

Is the warranty valid if you purchase the polisher from the original purchaser..2nd owner situation? In other words, is it transferable?

Thanks, Final. Do you think 105 is more aggressive than UC? I keep hearing the cut is about the same. However, I did get some 105 on the way with the Megs sales going on and all. :)

This is funny! As a noob looking in, no matter the color the same choices come up. "This one makes white look awesome!" "This one (the same as before) makes black look awesome!". Even more funny than that is the amount of choices and options people throw out. There is not really a concensus...

Well, I have one of these sitting around but terrified of it. I think I'm going to give it a go. What do you guys think of this? RPMs range from 1500-2800 according to the Mak website. Once I get the hang of it, this thing should polish up just like any other top rotary, right??

Oh, and if I do go with XMT, I guess going by the rule I would want to start out with a white pad and not just jump into an orange pad..least aggressive 1st and all. :)
