Question for you pro swirl removers

I had my car detailed about 2 months ago. It came out great but I have some questions mostly for my own education. He told me during the assessment that my car only had "light swirling". After 4-5 hours working on it about 90% of the swirls were removed. He said the remaining swirls were deeper...

    How do you remove...

I don't think it's like a block of sandpaper at all. I use it on stains and scuff marks. It works great and is cheap. You wet it with water and it becomes soft and then you wipe. I used it on my wife's steering wheel because there was a ton of grime on it. It took 30 seconds and looked like...

    Detailed: 2003 HD Soft Tail

How about "C4" as a product line name? "Clean4U" doesn't grab me as so much so I came up with "C4". "Explosive New Technology" from Justin

    Detailed: 2003 HD Soft Tail

Well, take it from me, most success comes to people who make a conscious decision to be successfull. If you truly had the passion to have your own line then it would happen. Do some research, talk to people, talk to banks, talk to paul dalton, talk to anyone you can, gather info, borrow money...

I know. I guess I was talking to myself there. I had been on this forum for hours and had actually forgotten about everything not autogeek related. I snapped out of it though.

i want more glow and less reflection

Glaze -> Sealant -> Wax in that order unless you have an acrylic glaze like creme glaze which can go over a sealant. I think your car looks great already. If you want glow try a glaze->sealant->carnauba combo. One thing you have to remember about that picture of the ferrari though is that...

    Collinite 845

Definately check out collinite. It's great. I used it a week ago on my wife's car and it still looks like I put it on this afternoon. It has a nice shine to it, so much so that I haven't topped it yet with AW because it looks so good. Collinite needs more hype in the looks department I think.

I used collinite yesterday for the first time on my wife's car. I wasn't expecting much in the looks department and only put it on for the durability but Wow!!! It looks great! I'm surprised that this wax isn't hyped more. Recently I tried wolfgang DGPS 3 times, 2 of those time on my wife's car...

Ok, I am going to bite the bullet and hire a detailer for my remaining swirls

Lauren, you live in San Diego? If so, I know the guy for you. His name is Ryan. He really knows what he is doing. He is a big poster on autopia. His user name there is RAG. If you want I can put you in touch with him. On autopia he is considered the best in San Diego. His service is great too...

    Wash & Wax: Volvo S40

That Souveran Spray wax looks good. I haven't seen anyone compare it to AW yet. What do you think, Justin? How does SSW compare to AW? (Is SSW an accepted acronym yet?)
