The older jeeps are satin too, and painted. I can attest to that with all the chips showing the white gelcoat I have on mine. Haven't experimented with a wax yet, but the Opticoat/Opti seal idea has merit.Need to find something that will clean up the chalky oxidation that is forming on it...

I have yet to find something that works for my 03 TJ hardtop. Because it's textured and satin finish, it's hard to find something that lasts. I've considered 303 but don't have any yet to try.

Just ran across this thread. Think this is the product I've been looking for. I've been so nervous to use anything on the leather seats (1st car I've owned with leather), that I only would wipe the leather with a damp terry towel to clean and took a chance with some Mothers leather conditioner...

Head over to the Box depot and pick up an electric leaf blower. I have a Weed Eater brand for bout $45 and use it all the time on the Z. Works pretty good.

Well, before I knew better, I'd just throw them in warm water with other towels and dry on normal heat. Probably ruined them I'm guessing. Guess they'll become my wheel/tire towels.

Noticed it the last time I washed them. Was cleaning my sunglasses when I noticed they left behind tiny microfiber hairs on the lens. Used another one to clean a windshield and had the same thing. They are the yellow short nap ones from Costco and have been washed at least 30-40 times by now...

We use Zep40 at the shop. Best foaming glass cleaner I've seen to date!

Thanks Mike for your quick response. I suspected that, but was hoping to use it in lieu of an IPA/MS wipe down, or the expensive alternatives.

Would Final Inspection be powerfull enough to remove polish & oils for correction results? I've read the Menz PP95 and Carpro Erasure to mention a couple is specific for that, but was wondering if anyone has experimented with the M34?

FYI, the Megs comes with this BP. MeguiarsDirect.com: DA Backing Plate Gravitating towards the Griots though. Can't find any info on what size the Megs motor is (power).

What turned you off on the Meguiars one? Just curious. I too, am trying to decide which one to get. I like the fact that the Griots has a 7amp motor compared to PC's 4.5 amp.
