    WHAT exactly is CG Blacklight?

Well....It smells GREAT...and V7 over it gets you thru the weekend. Not a bad thing to have in a pinch. My dark metallic grey subie looks good with it on.

Products that dont live up to the Hype

I couldn't agree more. After using menzerna I'll never use m105 again. I'm sure it works for experts, but for newbies and weekend warriors like myself ...stay away...far away. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

    R.I.P Paul Walker

I didn't saw I wish them dead, I said I wish them no harm. I simply asked why a "celebrity" like them never dies young but people like John Lennon or Jimi Hendrix or even someone like Paul Walker who seemed like a genuine and kind person tend to die young. Also we don't know any facts other...

    Detailing? I think not!

Hilarious, thanks for sharing. Guy should be on TV. He used one dirty old dish rag for Dye, Paint Thinner, Clear Coat paint, tire shine, armor all, and god knows what else. No gloves. I guess his catch phrase is "son of a b*" ? Said it after every break. I wish he would tell us what he bought...

Agreed, everything stays indoors, basement year round never gets too hot nor too cold.If humidity peaks during summer, I run a de-humidifier.

Humidity would be worse that slightly cold. See ... well basically everything on earth.

    R.I.P Paul Walker

Hate to say this but why couldn't it be Kayne West or Kim Kardashian? Not that I wish them harm, but if a "celebrity" has to go, why do people like Kayne and Kim always seem to dodge the bullet? Doesn't seem right....for once I'd rather Ringo goes and not John.

Are all yellow hand wax pads the same?

You mean like the microfiber applicator pads that autozone sells? How about you buy a few types and do a review? Cant cost more than $15. I'd love to read your review!

Are there any alternatives for going to a carwash?

That's a good idea. I picked up a Pilot Water Blade to dry my windows after touchless automatic wash with some UWW, touch up dry with MF. Helps drying them after hand wash too without my waffle weaves absorbing "window water", or at least a bit less. Don't use them on paint tho!

Are there any alternatives for going to a carwash?

Automatic car wash tunnel, Touchless! In the northern winter it won't get the windshield area outside of wiper blades 100% clean, so I know its not cleaning the paint 100%, but its better than nothing when you can't wash yourself by hand. Pay the extra $1 for blow dry option.

    Looking for something different

You are moving in right direction, practice on the old hood, not your new paint job. If new paint job is in good shape I wouldn't polish until needed. And when you do, use a Test Spot with the least aggressive pad/polish combo first. If least aggressive looks good, continue with rest of your...

    First time polishing mishap?

Looks like RIDS. You removed the swirls revealing random isolated deep scratches that a simple polish cannot fix. They are deep and your fingernail can probably get caught in them.
