After wash and dry they are still shedding? Usually the loose fibers (if any) are gone after initial wash and dry using low heat. If still happening try one more wash dry, if still shedding take them back.

Your test is actually better, at least just as important, than testing it on a car that is driven around or parked outside. Sections of a car, even on the same panel, can get more environmental abuse and contamination than others which invalidates many long term durability "road tests" IMHO.

Oh and really study the threads and youtube videos on M205 before trying it, you really need to properly prime the pad before attempting it.

Youtube search prime pad porter cable or prime pad m205 or m105, good instructions there. The spray you used was pad conditioner to soften it a bit, doesn't prime it. The pad should be very lightly coated , by you spreading it around with your finger, with product BEFORE you add dime sized spots...

Its a hybrid,according to CG, sealant so you can layer it. Just loses durability because it also is a glaze. Thats why they recommend topping with v7.

Blacklight is a glaze with fillers. By itself wears off quickly like a glaze, topped with a sealant such as V7, which it not a wax, prolongs it a bit.

On the other hand some real reviews are horrible. One guy on Amazon gave an electric blower for a fireplace a 1 star because when he went to plug the fan in behind his fireplace the contractor never hooked up that outlet....I kid you not.
