Which MF Towels for Waterless Washing??

I use the Euro shag for hybrid water/rinse-less (GDM) washes. Also tried AG chinchillas they work great as well.

    Best Budget Claybar

First time using DA? If so I'd skip M105 totally, I know its get pushed here like its the end all be all, but honestly you need to jump through hoops to make it work well. Just stick with M205, unless you want massive headaches. For clay, try mothers kit, budget friendly and works really really...

    Duragloss Issue

For 501 visit a marina or boat sales area? Won't be sold by auto store perhaps. If not I'd do 101 first then finish with 105 about 3 hours later. Also mix in 601 with each product 4:1 rations, so for example Blend 4 parts #101 to 1 part 601 on the pad or in bottle just before application, and...

Favorite Glaze and What to Top It With?

Blacklight topped with V7 worked well for my metallic grey vehicle last year.

    Spray Waxes

Isn't V7 spray sealant? In that case, if spray sealants are included, you should try Blackfire crystal spray sealant. Works pretty well if you want durability! Great look too.

In this episode of "At The Carwash"...

I'm thinking about running hot water to my outdoor faucet...figure 9 bucks at the touchless, spend about the same at the house using hot water or warm water mix.

Which bang for the buck shampoo?

Also not trying to start flame war, I dilute DG901 down 50%, about 1 ounce to 2 gallons, but per manufacturer directions, its way more expensive than people think. Even at my dilution ration its more expensive than CG shampoos. About 75 cents per wash of 4 gallons versus 41 cents with Wash and...

Which bang for the buck shampoo?

Duragloss 901 bottle states 1 ounce per gallon of water, AG website says 1 ounce per 3 gallons, I'm assuming the manufacturer bottle is correct. That brings the cost of a Duragloss 901 product far ahead of Chemical Wash and Clear for example. Not including tax or shipping 901 is 5.99 a bottle...

Autozone Carrying a DA and Megs Pro Line

Didn't see a thread on this, but if your DA breaks on you, Autozone, at least near me, is carrying the Chinese DA that GG sells (Alibaba.com) but for 150 (ripoff). Under some different brand. They also had the Meg pro line, kinda nice for a backup. This same store near me did not have these...

    Swirls appearing after correction/OG

It will pull off dirt by itself (water and shampoo) foamed on the body shot by the foan gun, without touching, its visible to the eye when I do it. So, before you start rubbing with a mitt, less particles or particles that are already lubricated, should theoretically "swirl less" or not at all...

How to slow down very early clear coat failure

CEE DOG's thread on CQ and OC he applied directly to roof that had clear coat failure already, if I recall it seemed to seal it nicely. Maybe try C Quartz or Opti-Coat ? I wouldn't "prepare" the paint vigorously with cleaning chemicals etc, but mild wash, mild clay and coat with CQ or OC perhaps?

Scratching the car with Rinseless/Waterless wash?

OK now I gotcha, remember people are going to have their opinions, one way or the other, and on a hot topic like this I wouldn't let anyone rile your feathers. IMHO regular wash or anything else will eventually swirl paint. Gotta live with it, polish it out every year or two.

Scratching the car with Rinseless/Waterless wash?

Who are you responding to? Me? I actually use the GDM method myself...rinseless and waterless in the summer if its not too dirty, this past winter I used GDM if its above 40 not windy and cleaned recently via touchless (less than a week prior). I brought up the test concept knowing it will be...
