The area that is affected is the left side bolster on the driver side. The seats are Katskinz leather seat covers. They were applied by the dealership when I bought the car and they are out of warranty by a few years. I can't really complain since the car is a 2007.

Here are pictures I took of the streaks on the car. I saw his car yesterday after we've had some snow and wet roads and the streaks are worse than these which leads me to believe it is from the nasty road conditions as of late. -Mike

since these white streaks easily wiped off with a cloth I doubt that they are high spots that needs polishing and reapplication.
