    Local Detailer Recommendations

I was looking at the DeWalt since it had a lot of good reviews from a lot of unrelated places and it is a good price at a local Home store with free shipping to home or store. I also thought about the PorterCable, but I read some people said that you can't really do any correction with it...

    Local Detailer Recommendations

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I wasn't sure where to post this. Does anyone know of any good detailers in the Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA area? Any help would be appreciated. I am debating on whether to have someone work on my car or do it myself since I've never used a machine...

    Black and Decker 6126

Thank you very much for the info. I may just hold off until I can get a more appropriate machine. Hoping to find a good used one which I haven't been able to find on craigslist.

Thank you. Do you think that this will be suitable for using the 3M paint repair kit that includes all the pads and polishes?

    Black and Decker 6126

My fiancee's dad has a Black and Decker 6126 Type 100 he said I could have, but I can't find any info on it and he's not sure where the manual is or if he even still has it. All he could tell me was that it was a polisher and that if you push down on it it stops. Can anyone help me out here...

By the way I will be using this on my fiancees 2003 Ford Escape with dark green paint to test it before I use it on my Z that you see as my avatar.

    10" buffer/polisher useage question

I have this style buffer/polisher and it is a 10" model. I got it at Christmas several years ago in one of those exchange games. I've never used it, but am really wanting to give it a go. I bought a foam bonnet to use for the paint cleaner, and microfiber bonnets for the paint polish and the...

Two Guys Garage - How To Remove Swirls - Bryan Fuller & Mike Phillips

Judging from posts I've seen from you it sounds to me that you are a pro with this stuff or close to it. I'm sure everyone has flung product all over their car/garage/etc. and I'm sure I'll be no different. Before I can do that though I have to get me some tools for polishing, but that will...

Two Guys Garage - How To Remove Swirls - Bryan Fuller & Mike Phillips

I've never used a machine yet, but it's nice to see that even the pro's still fling stuff sometimes. Seeing that will make me feel better the first time I do that. Glad to see that you have a good humor about it and let them air it instead of cutting it out or doing a re-take. Humility is...

    New to the place

It's a shame that there aren't any registries out there with auto detailing stuff. after the move I'm hoping to take classes on how to use machines to speed up the process and get better results.
