In your WW scenario, you could also spray your towel a bit so it's not a dry towel wiping the panel/ww solution.

Just a follow up. The 1/8" bearing did get lodged in the top of the sprayer because it was too small. I had to take the sprayer head completely apart to get it out. Today I finally got some standard 4.5mm BBs and they fit perfectly. The sprayer is working good as new again.

Hey Oak, did you figure out what size bearing?

I would bet m205 or hd polish would remove most or all of the coating. I would shocked if it took something as aggressive as m105. Let us know what combination gets the job done.
