I know that the idea is to go over each panel as few times as possible to get the desired results. But on average....how many times do you go over an entire car with your compound? I read about these 35 hour or 3 day correction details....Obviously in cases like this you're going over certain...

Specifically cutting pads...I find that after i wash them...they always seem much "Softer" than when they arrived at my door...I have to assume they won't cut as well...but i'm not sure why this happens... anyone else notice this with foam pads?

Per step...on an average sized vehicle i'll usually use about 4 pads. Inbetween each pass i'll hit the pad with my conditioning brush to get excess product out. In for other responses.

I use the regular standard griots wheel cleaner (green). It's inexpensive and has never let me down.

Do the 105/205....step back and look at the paint. if you really think it needs more gloss and feel like doing an extra hour of work...have at it.

Typically it's with any heavier pad/compound. I'm using a flex 3401. For example i last weekend i used my flex with SIP on a Cyan HT pad and a yellow B&S pad and got holograms from both on a black lambo. They came out later with my next step...but i was sweating for a minute...

I have to assume it's something in my technique. I typically use a good amount of pressure and try to get 5 or so passes on each section. For some reason though...on most dark paints...i always end up with holograms and sometimes have to do the lighter polishing step 2-3 times to get them out...

I use and really like Optimum Metal Polish. I use it with two towels. One to rub the polish in and the other to buff. I feel like I'm not utilizing the power of the polish and there are better ways to use it. So.....how do you use your Optimum Metal Polish?

it's very interesting to hear you like adams products as there is such a large variation in how people feel about them. I've known people who LOVE them and people who hate on them left and right. I've even heard that all adams products are repackaged chem guys products..... I've had good...

Thanks Mark. I only use Citrus Wash for stripping. Otherwise i've had a gallon of adams car wash for ever that i'm actually coming to the end to soon. so i'm researching towards my next purchase. :xyxthumbs: Thank you!

this is testiment that they offer too many products. I was asking the difference between Citrus Wash. and the Citrus Wash & Clear. Not the Wash and Gloss....

do you know what the difference is between Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear vs their Citrus Wash? I use their citrus wash now as a LSP Stripper.
