I've been very pleased with Opti Bond as well. I use it on rubber trim as well, and it leaves everything looking very well-finished and clean.

I'm hoping to detail my C250. Remove all protection, ironx, tar removal, clay, bfcs, and 476s. I need to pull the wheels to decontaminate and protect them as well.

The pearl white really is beautiful. It takes on different hues from different angles. Did you do anything in particular to remove any existing protection before using Iron Out? I'm planning to use it for the first time and don't know if I should try to strip away any remnants of 476s and BFCS...

I have been using 476s for a couple years now with great results, with respect to visual results and durability. I used BFCS a few months ago with 476s on top and it really looks great, even today.

My understanding is the prerequisite is a paint cleaner, preparing the paintwork to accept the CS coating. I'd be concerned a glaze would compromise the ability of CS to adhere and cause the coating to fail.

I actually have a question regarding the Crystal Seal coat. Occasionally I'll hang my arm out my window and rest my hand against the door - does this contact and light wear significantly degrade the integrity of the sealant, warranting regular reapplication?

What a huge transformation. A ton of work went into that 335 and it turned out beautifully.
