    Foam gun and washing question

Because, as I noted in my post, I believe that some the debris that is trapped by the foam could be getting rubbed against the paint by your mitt if you don't rinse it off the car first. Essentially, my dilemma comes down to weighing the benefit of extra lubrication vs. the possibility of...

What are these little specs all over my paint?

I can't feel the spots with my finger. They are white- that waxy/opaque color similar to bug wax residue. The blue look I think came from poor camera quality or something.

What are these little specs all over my paint?

My car was at the dealership having service done for over 2 weeks. I washed it right before I brought it in (the problem was non-urgent). I told the dealership not to wash my car after they finished, and it appeared that they listened. So, I washed the car the night I picked it back up (last...

    Foam gun and washing question

Foam (soap) is a surfactant, so it can "break through" water no problem. I'm not concerned about this.

    Foam gun and washing question

Maybe I'm over-thinking things and it might be a minor detail, but I'm curious. When washing my car: I jet-rinse all the big debris off my car with water first, then soak it with water, then cover it with soap (Honeydew) using a foam gun. Then, I let it dwell for a couple minutes. After it...
