need help first time pc 7424 user

i would start with the least agressive approach first....start with the white pad and ssr1, if that doesnt get the results you desire, then move to the white pad and 2.5, if no good, then go to the above post....the least agressive the better for the long haul, remove the least amount of clear...

    optimum polish 2

if you have used other polishes in the past, then you will know when its broken down....its not like you have to work it for a half hour or anything, but you do have to work it and extra pass or two more then you would normally....its almost like it never breaks down, but when you check your...

do i need a finishing polish?

you can use op as a finishing polish no problem...op can be used as a pad dependent polish...so if you want it to be agressive use an orange pad, if you want to finish with it, use a white or gray pad....i dont know if a blue pad is dense enough to work op....you can try with the blue, but i...

Can swirl marks be polish out by hand?

you might as well hang it up now....spend the 150 dollars for a pc and get some real results....using polish designed for a machine by hand is not going to get the job done....you hand just cant produce the power needed to do a correction job....you can get an isolated scratch/swirl out by hand...

    Polishing technique

body shops arnt necessarly the best at detailing cars....if you want your car to look its best, you dont take it to a body shop to have them polish it out, you take it to a detail specialist or you learn how to do it yourself... what i am trying to say, is that they dont know what detail...

have some questions on my progress

i dont have any experience with menzerna polish, but it looks to me as the polish in pic 3 isnt broken down completly and that can cause micro marring....i also sometimes wonder if a grey pad is strong enough to break down some polishes as the pad is very soft and may not beable to roll out the...

it is desinged that way because there is a big difference between 5 and 6....you need to know when you make the jump so one big notch instead of small clicks.... i almost never use 6, i always go right to 5, so its easy for me to know where i am at with the designe of the dial....
