i dont know, that kits just looks too expensive to me....you can get a pc, some pads, polish and sealant for 200 bucks....you spending like 400 bucks there....not to mention 50 bucks for carnuba....thats just flat out expensive for what you get....get some serious protection for around 30 bucks...

why do you think you need a kit desinged to polish out ceramic clearcoats....does pontiac use a super hard clearcoat??....if i were you i would get a premium synthetic sealant...if the car is a daily driver you will be better off with the protection that a sealant gives you over a carnuba...

there is a difference between waxing and polishing....polishing is the correction part of a full detail, waxing is the protection/sealing part after you do the hard work of correcting the damage done by improper carwashing... your going to need a machine to do a correct polish, and the machine...

thats cool....i was hopping that xmt didnt have any carnuba in it...i new the poliseal did, which is ok...i prefer polymer....

poliseal and xmt 360 don not contain fillers....they correct not fill....

try the 5.5" pads next...they really do work better with the udm/pc's....

well, i guess i will just have both...i am hopping that xmt will have more of a correction quality then poliseal which i think has none, but i used i have found that if you use it after a polish with a black pad it cleans up nicely....i just wanted to use it with a white pad for more of a...

anyone have experience with both...i currently have poliseal, but i dont see how it can correct as its just too light and cant be worked in very long.... i just ordered up some xmt 360 as i am just looking for a product to maintain the finish i just corrected on my car and remove the minor...

todays modern clearcoats are just about impossible to correct by hand....why not invest around 200 bucks to get a pc and some pads and polish and do the job right....the machine will pay for itself the first time you use it, not to mention the time you will save adding coats of wax or sealant...

you will not be dissapointed....4 star is a premium product not sold in stores....

if you bought it here, i would think they would take care of that for you....it doesnt really look normal to me, but then again i am using a pair of udm's and i am not really familuar with the flex....

i was thinking the same thing...i use 4 star upp, then the 4 star spray wax all with the polycharger...dont know what the polycharger does, but the stuff just rocks...slickness and gloss are second to none....

all i know, is that i placed an order at autogeek today, and right after that i placed an order at exceldetail.com....excel uses fed x and autogeek is using ups for me.... autogeek delivery date is jan 7 excel is jan 3 both were confirmed by tracking numbers.... make some sense out of that....

i picked up two of the gold hd guzzlers...i hope to replace my absorbers for the ww towels....just got done polishing out my car to perfection, followed it up with a quick pass with poliseal, followed it up with upp....want to start drying with the ww towels vrs my old way with the absorbers...

no help here...i would think everyone on this board is using some kind of ww towel to dry their cars....

with traditional glazes this would be true, but dwg is not your normal glaze, it doesnt fill or polish, it can be topped or be the topper....in his case with 2.0 having a cleaner in it, i would use that first then top with dwg...and dwg does have some protective qualities to it...

the gold cobra hd drying towel, or the green supreme towel that is 20x40....i need some new towels, and cant decide which i would like to get and which one drys better....
