that sounds like too much work....surely you can get it knocked down to just 2 steps....i mean seriously 4 steps...i dont even make 4 passes when i am polishing out a car....your protection might be a little overkill

polish is a generic term...anything with the ability to correct is a polish...

i emailed matt at autogeek and he said 4 star upp will last indefinatley if store indoors in cliamte controlled conditions....the bottle that is, not for protection, ofcourse....

i have used both, i just like the 5.5 pads, they are easier to use and the lower profile and size make correction easier then when using the larger pads...

i would tape, but i havent noticed any staining or issues of that kind....

seriously, you cant use the term long lasting and carnuba in the same sentence...carnuba doesnt last more than a month at best....it just doesnt stand up to washing at all....it not bad as a topper over some synthetic sealant, but as a stand alone, you are only cheating yourself and your cars...

i have used the polycharged version, and here in dallas, it is easily lasting me 3+ months on my daily driver....

i cant believe not one person mentioned 4 star ultimate paint protection....i have used many of the products listed, and nothing matches 4 star upp for protection and slickness....

its just a waist of time to take the extra step to remove something that might not even exist anymore....i mean if you used carnuba 3 months ago, and you are getting ready to polish, there isnt any carnuba left to remove...besides, polishing is going to remove anything that is present....

can anyone compare it to optimum poliseal...i purchased this aio from autogeek a few weeks ago, and i must say i wasnt that impressed and i was looking at the xmt at the same time...i feel like poliseal had zero correction to it at all, i used it with my udm and white pad, not to mention it...

dental floss or just pick it off, then use a little goo gone or wd 40 and clean up the area until no residue is left...then a little polish followed by some wax or sealant and your done...

dude, the poor guy is already worried about burning up the paint and now we are talking about a rotary.... op, you just need to jump right into the orbital machine game...little to no risk of damaging your paint, and good results can and will be had with minor paint correction and...

your not going be satified until you machine polish....that is where things start to happen....

geeze, dont get to carried away giving stuff away....i would think you could atleast give away 10 of thoes things....

still seems odd to me that you would keep the pc over the udm being the udm is just a better machine....i have used both, they seem like the same machine to the newbie, but i can tell you with no uncertainty that the machines are not equal...the udm is a better mahcine.... all that said, my...

udm comes with a bag, and issues with early models have been resoved...plus its a fine machine...i personally dont think the casual home detailer can go wrong with any of the listed machines...i would have loved to have had the flex, but i wasnt interested in spending that kind of money on a...

i would think that if they were out of stock, that they would still be listed on their site but listed out of stock....know what i mean....
