Are you business owners afraid of what you look like?

B&B, Nice website. Nice work. OTOH, that nose... :poke:;)

Are you business owners afraid of what you look like?

No. I wrote that, as a businessman, you need to look at a bunch of factors and determine what is best to promote your business. If NOT fitting the mold increases business, then don't fit the mold. I think that everyone should look at someone's internal value and disregard their race...

Are you business owners afraid of what you look like?

I like Bryan's website (Mr Sparkle) the best. It hits all of the hot buttons for me personally and professionally. Why do I say professionally? Although I've been detailing my own cars for the last 8 years, I'm not a professional detailer. OTOH, I spent 14 years in professional sales...

    Is TRIX replacing IronX?

Good product, but it stinks. Get a Kwazar sprayer. No more smells. Dan.

    Is TRIX replacing IronX?

Corey, You FORCED me to do it! I just ordered the 500ML IronX Eco Refill on BOGO. Excellent timing!!! :props: Dan.

    Is TRIX replacing IronX?

Be that as it may, but TRIX is $27/liter while IronX is $33/liter. Based on Corey's post, it looks like TRIX is more aggressive and could harm some trim. If it wasn't for that, I'd say TRIX was a more cost-effective product. Regards, Dan.

    Is TRIX replacing IronX?

Corey, That is very important info. Maybe I missed it in your TRIX review. If not, please add it. Hmmm... Now I have to buy IronX too! Arrrgh! Thanks, Dan.

    Is TRIX replacing IronX?

I have Trix and like it. OTOH, I've never used IronX. The more important question to me is, if Trix does the exact same thing as IronX AND removes tar too... Why buy IronX? What's the advantage of IronX? Dan.

    Collinite 845 - 1. Dawn - 0

If you're using lessor quality sealants, that might be the case. With better quality sealants like Zaino, a good quality wash like Zaino Z7 or CG Maxi Suds II will NOT harm the sealant. And that is based on personal experience. Dan.

    Quick opinion for Dressing

+1. I have PERL 1:1 on the tires, and some of the rubber and plastic trim. VERY nice! Dan.

    Collinite 845 - 1. Dawn - 0

Better yet, in addition to the bottle of wash... Create a concise, one-page "Routine Auto Cleaning" instruction sheet. Then, after completing a detail, take a good after pic of the car, paste it into an open place in the instruction sheet, and give it to the customer. With your contact info...

    what is your favorite sealant

For a polish, SF4500 should do nicely. I use Zaino sealants and will be testing UPGP in a couple weeks. (After lots of prep.) Dan.

    Review: Ultima Waterless Wash Plus

Apply UWWP with a Kwazar sprayer. Tighten up the nozzle and it will come out as a fine mist. One full squeeze while sweeping the sprayer over your hood will cover 1/4 to 1/3 of the hood in an even mist. Try just one 1 liter Kwazar sprayer with UWWP. Then you'll get smooth AND fast...

Attracting Senior Customers and promoting myself?

DC, I'm not sure if "retirement homes", AKA "assisted living" will generate that much business. I'm 65 and my mother-in-law is 92 and still living in a house. When someone goes to an assisted living home I suspect that they won't have a car. You might want to check out communities that...
