Not to throw it off topic.....but any t-shirt company that will do only a few shirts? Everyone that I seem to contact, takes minimal order of 12 shirts and I don't need that many.

How to clean headlights on the cheap?

:iagree: This reminds me.....met a "detailer" a while ago, who charges his customers $10 a headlight.....and all he does is rub them down with an old rag and brake fluid seems to work but I would never do that personally and don't know how long that would even last.

What kind of wheel is this

Once a amonth, I would clean them thoroughly with Sonax and coat them in Wheel Wax. In between, I would just wash them with whatever I was using at the time to wash the car and it was always suffice because of the protection offered by the Wheel Wax.

One way to clean the carpets I guess

I've gone through this type of cleaning. It's not always worth the money for the replacement especially if it can get cleaned out almost entirely by doing this.....for some cars, you can't even find the carpet anymore either.

    Wheel cleaning and sealing recommendation

Personally, I use both Wheel Wax or Collinite 845. Wheel Wax has cleaning abilities and a higher temperature rating as well from what I understand. If I'm applying Collinite 845 to the car, I just go ahead and apply to the wheels as well.

Thanks for the input fellas! This was some time ago that I had posted this. I was thinking of having who was going to be the future father in law (not sure if he will be my future father in law anymore LOL!), and I gave him the chance and tried training him. I started by showing him with the...

Tips for working in warm/hot weather or direct sunlight

Good info Mike! I work in the sun when working on the cars and I have a way of putting up an 11' x 16' tarp instead of a canopy but thats because I work in the same area everytime. Because of possible contamination from the wind and the elements, after prepping the paint and before I get into...

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

Here is a cheap find I got from Ebay a few months back. I got one to clean the wheels and I got another one for interiors of the vehicles. It's about $5-$6 each with shipping. Total length about 23" and actual microfiber area length is 14". This thing is great for those hard to reach areas like...

    1oz stripper scent samples?

FWIW......this doesn't sound like a bad idea to me but maybe you would want to offer a "variety" of scents as a sample size. If they opt for "New Car" scent instead, I wouldn't give them "Stripper". I would give them the one that they asked for in the first place so they can keep it...
