I'm curious and attempted to search but didn't find an answer... but for cars with spoilers and when you're polishing the entire car, how do you get underneath the spoiler or do you remove the spoiler? I don't care for my personal cars but I wouldn't want to do that for a friend's car or...

Haha... that's great. I have my wife helping doing interiors in the cars while I work the exterior so we're both beat after long details. If you see the interior of the S2k that I posted you can see the level of detail she puts in. It's nice but just too tired to get the camera to focus...lol

I'm going to work on my daily driver and don't mind putting a lot of time into it and I'll post pics. It's a toyota corolla so we'll see if the paint is as hard. I should have taken more pictures of the details but i'm so exhausted since most of the cars are averaging around 12-14 hours each...

Yea tons of highway miles. I should find a picture of the hood to show the rock chips... there's no way to patch all the chips, better off respraying the entire hood and front bumper. Here's an after shot of the hood. It's hard to tell but you can see the amount of rock chips on the hood.

I created another thread for the Camry I just worked on and it has super tough paint it seems. I have a Toyota Corolla that I'm going to work on next that's mine. I'll see if that's hard was well.

Thanks! I used Krud cutter truthfully and with a toothbrush. Once it's all cleaned I go over everything with exterior trim and rubber protector from Wolf Gang. It restores the faded black plastic to a deep rich black again and it helps repeal dust in the future.

So I had to work on my mother's car and decided to detail and clean it up. Mind you this car has over 132k miles and rock chips galore. I found that the toyota paint is a million times harder than a honda paint job. After first using 4500 and a white hybrid didn't do squat. Changed up to...

Yea actually one. How the hell do I attach photos in the thread and not as attachments? I would assume uploading them to like photobucket and then attaching them that way? Also I found that Honda has really soft paint whereas, in a new thread soon, Toyota's paint is hard as a brick

I ended up using my Flex and the following: FG400 4500 WG3.0 Sorry for no 50/50 shot. It's on the camera somewhere. I had like 20 or so pictures and pulled just a few to show a few people. Here are pictures from the first pass.

LOL... thanks Eric. Will do. I do have the LC backing plate and it was on 6. I just figured that it would have been okay since all of the other pads I use never had problems.

Yep I just got them from AG last week. It's really weird that it's doing that. Have you had problems like that? The CS pads are great and I don't have problems with them.

So I'm curious as to what product and technique would you use to clean up the painted metal around windows? It appears to be a matte black? I have a dd that appears to have oil stains on mine but I also have to clean up a friends car that appears to have fine swirl marks in the paint.

Wow... great job. I should post pictures of the NFR S2k that I'm working on. I'm just waiting on some more products to arrive and will be doing it this weekend. I'm trying to touch-up literally about 50 rock chips on the entire front.... :(
