CCS Spot Buffs 4 Inch Foam Pad Kit?

Sounds good. So Lake Country smallest is 4" and I can use the 4" pads with that then. Why do you need the 6" if the flex comes with a 5.9" pad already?

CCS Spot Buffs 4 Inch Foam Pad Kit?

I'm thinking from what I read that I need to purchase a separate machine such as the griot's to do smaller areas versus getting a smaller backing plate for the flex. Sorry for all the questions but trying to make sure I do this right :)

CCS Spot Buffs 4 Inch Foam Pad Kit?

Has anyone used the Lake Country Backing Plate with the Flex 3401 without any problems? The reviews have suggested that it gets hot and then ends up cracking....

CCS Spot Buffs 4 Inch Foam Pad Kit?

do people recommend getting the 4" kit from autogeek for working on smaller areas with the Flex? It comes with a 2 3/4" backing plate.... I was thinking I could use the 4" pads for the side mirrors and other smaller areas on a car. Any thoughts?

    Pitted glass fix?

I'm just curious to know if there's something I could do other than replacing a windshield that is pitted? If pictures are needed I can snap some this weekend when I have some time. Thanks, and I don't have a rotary either just a flex 3401. :)

    Menzerna... top notch?

I ended up ordering the FG400 and the 4500... you guys kinda make me feel that I should have ordered the 4000 but I wanted the perfect finish that the 4500 sold me on. I also ordered the Wolfgang 3.0 as the sealant to try. I pick up a new '14 forester for the wife in November and I'll probably...

    Menzerna... top notch?

Ha I used to own an '06 LBP as well as an '02 Spa Yellow S2k. :) Moved on and waiting for my new toy next year. 2 people have rec'd the Sonax so I'm going to be looking into that as well. I haven't pulled a trigger on a sealant quite yet and am going to order something today. :)

    Menzerna... top notch?

Yea the car was my younger brother and he pretty much neglected the car. I don't think he even knew what the word car wash meant. Regardless the car is in dire need and I can tell he took it somewhere and they sprayed the car to cover rock chips.... needless to say it really needs some TLC...

    Menzerna... top notch?

Yea I just saw the price and I don't like to spend that much on a wax... unless it had a lot of gold (which I could melt down and sell..haha) But I like the 3.0 and think I'll use that after the 4500. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Menzerna... top notch?

So it's okay to use the FG400 and 4500 but I should look for a better sealant. I used to use Zaino and loved that 6 months later the surface was still slick and smooth but need to grow into bigger shoes and there has to be something better. I like the reviews of the wolfgang... is there better...

    Menzerna... top notch?

Hello Everyone, I'm jumping the gun and after doing detailing by hand I'm getting a Flex 3401. I have a car that I need to detail and get ready sell so I was wondering what people thought on the this small list. Menzerna FG400, SF4500, and PowerLock w/ Orange- White- Gray Pads. What do...
