My vote is to go to a reputable detailer near you (or the dealership detailer if they are good) and ask them. If there is a scratch it could be from claying or the bug sponge.

To me they seem to saturate easily (at which point they start grabbing). Also, I find that are less thick than other towels, so they absorb less downward pressure.

I don't get it: Why are the brushes better than a wheel woolie, boars hair brush, or autofiber wheel brush? I can see preferring them over microfiber towels because reach, if your wheel isn't off. I get the clay, but wasn't everyone saying synthetic clay is so much better than clay when those...
