Help! Ran over some went paint

Solved! Okay, so I was Googling for removing paint off tires and came across a thread which Mike replied to: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/20882-spray-paint-tires.html So I went to Lowe's on the way home and picked up a bottle of Motsenbocker's Lift Off...

    Government ramming internet sales tax

Ever since Amazon started charging tax in CA, I noticed that their price has gone up. I wonder if its their way of making up for lost business from CA customers.

Help! Ran over some went paint

Are Lacquer Thinner and Paint Thinner the same thing? I was wondering if either Paint Thinner or Mineral Spirits would be able to remove the paint without messing up the clear coat. Anyway, I don't have any M105 on hand. I do however have some Scratch X 2.0. I think I'll stop by Walmart...

Help! Ran over some went paint

Washing didn't seem to do anything. Tried claying with no effect. However, it seems that if I scrape off the paint with my fingernails, the clay seems to remove the remaining smudge, so it might work. This feels like it's going to take at least a few hours. I've never clayed tires before, is...

Help! Ran over some went paint

Help! I guess I might have ran over some wet paint. Noticed it this more. It's all over the tires, wheel well, rear bumper, and the lower part of the doors. It seems to be slightly stretchy. Smells like cheap paint. What's the best way to remove them? Thanks!

Polish/Seal, fix chips now or later?

I ended up taping up the spot, polished and sealed the rest of the car. I have some touch up I got from the dealer. I think these are the three stage paint. It's a pearl white, so I guess it has some kind of metallic flakes. Would DrColorchip be better?

Polish/Seal, fix chips now or later?

Sounds like a good plan. Do you think I should polish and seal over the chips or tape off the chips and a small radius surrounding it so it doesn't get polished?

Polish/Seal, fix chips now or later?

Okay, so my car is in need of a polish/sealant job (don't think there's much wax if any left on the car), however there are a few chips on the hood. So the question is which should i do first: - Fix chips then polish - Tape the chips, polish, then fix the chips and polish that area - or...

Anyone else have problems with uverse billing??

Yeah, similar thing happened to me with U-verse. Unfortunately, it's between them and Time Warner. This is at my parents place. At my place, we have Verizon Fios. It's awesome! It's about 30% cheaper with more things than U-Verse. If you can get Fios, DO IT!

New Problem/Annoyance I've never encountered before... thoughts?

I had something similar happened to me. I was applying Meguiar's Ultimate Polish by hand and wiped it off with an MF. I noticed some residue left behind that the MF won't remove so I tried rubbing it with my finger and those little balls started forming.

Newb / How to start over?

Do I need the Black or Blue pads as well or is the White pad good enough for the finishing touch with wax/sealant? Regarding the oily film left behind the polish, is it okay to use rubbing alcohol to remove those? It seems like some people like to top Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 with a wax. I was...

Newb / How to start over?

I'm a newbie at this stuff. Over the weekend, I attempted to detail my wife's car by hand (it was brutal). Only did half the car (Hood, top, and the part that goes from the above the side-view mirrors/over the door and behind the rear doors). Here's the order of the things I did to those...
