I have a bunch of microfiber/chenille wash mitts. I usually just toss them in the washing machine with regular detergent and now fabric softener. Is this fine?

Great pictures and amazing work. That 50/50 shot really tells the full story. Question, when you are doing the foam do you just wash it right there the way it is? It seems like it dwells on the paint long enough that you could take some wash mitts to it, have a bucket w/ grit guard for rinsing.

What causes like these inside the door handles? Is it just thin paint in that area? It also goes up a bit into the regular paint. This is a brand new car only washed twice once by dealer and once by me. Can these be polished out by hand?
