Is this how Megs #16 should look like?

Hi all, After already receiving different wax pots, I learned there are usually some cracks in the wax, and it's not always perfect looking inside the jar as it is on the product's ad. However this one seems a little extreme - Like it melted and then cooled or something similar: May...

Video and Pictures: 2012 Fiat 500 - Chemical Guys Show Car Makeover - AutogeekOnline.net

Thank you Mike for this great detailed answer! Do you also prime a pad when trying to apply a sealant/glaze by machine? In the video it seemed that you are using only a few drops of Black Light from the beginning, and not priming the finishing pad...? Thanks :)

Mike and the rest of the AG crew - I really can't say thank you enough for these videos.. they really are terrific! I do have a question though, as I'm getting a little confused about whether or not to prime a buffing pad with product. I was under the impression that priming the pad with a...

Where and how do you store Iron X?

:) But wouldn't storing it outside be bad for the product's shelf life? Even if it's hidden from the sun in some way, the temperatures and temperature-change are much more extreme, aren't they?

Where and how do you store Iron X?

Hi all, I want to first make it clear that I think Iron X is an excellent product that lives to its hype. However, in my eyes, it has a major con which is its smell. I currently have only new Iron X and Trix bottles, and even though they were not yet opened, they just bring a strong distinct...

    Liquid products expiry date?

Good advice, however the products aren't stored at the garage (I don't have one ;) ) but inside one of the rooms in the house which is used as a basic storage room. In any case, it's not near as hot as in a garage.

    Liquid products expiry date?

Unfortunately I don't have an air conditioner where I store the products (can't store them where there is one), and I wouldn't want to leave the air conditioner on all day just for this... kind of expensive for this cause. I have read that a thermo-electric wine chiller (no engine) consumes low...

    Opti-Seal cuting time before Wax

Hey, Your process seems solid, however I sure hope you are referring to an XMT 360 paint-cleanser product, and not to XMT 360 Spray wax. Regarding the curing time - I found it hard as well to find an official answer. From what I read, if you want to be on the safe side - Let it cure for 12-24...

    Liquid products expiry date?

Many thanks for the useful info Mike! Pics are also cool... :) Thanks! I too am thinking about purchasing a wine fridge, designated to keep everything cool at all times. Where I live the outside temperature during summer are around the high 90s and during winter are around 35-50, and I have...

    Liquid products expiry date?

Hi all, Six months (give or take) have passed since I got into the detailing realm, and I have stocked up so many products since... I now got to thinking - I have different compounds, polishes, glazes, sealants etc. which will probably last several lifetimes - But do they have a much shorter...

do i need to clay before poli-seal???

I would safely say that claying is a necessity before using a polisher to do anything. Even if you're car's paint is in great shape, it's much better to be on the safe side and remove as much contaminants as possible before a pad will rotate in high speed all over your exterior. As in many...

Do your MF towels lose plushness after machine wash?

Okay, I have another question about using vinegar. If I'm washing my towels by hand, when will I use the vinegar - with the detergent, or will I soak the towels in diluted vinegar after I've rinsed the detergent out?

Do your MF towels lose plushness after machine wash?

Thanks! So half a cup of vinegar to the softener dispenser, I'll try that some time. Are you sure this is safe for the machine? Is this ordinary vinegar you pick up at the super market? Sorry for all the questions, but I really have no idea.

Do your MF towels lose plushness after machine wash?

By "the rinse cycle" do you mean pour it inside on the towels when they are inside the machine before turning it on?
