CG Blacklight topped with Dodo Purple Haze Pro

I don't see a problem since CG themselves suggest applying a second coat for better results. Umm, what exactly do you mean by "overkill"? (Asking this seriously, I'm not sure what the term refers to). Thanks! :)

CG Blacklight topped with Dodo Purple Haze Pro

Yesterday I applied 2 coats of Black Light, then one coat of 5050 wax, and then V7. I will upload some pics tomorrow but to be honest - I expected much more from this combo. I thought that maybe it doesn't work as well on light colors (like my car) than on darker ones, but now that you have...

    Heat question

Interesting indeed. Do you apply it by hand or with a DA? (I plan on using a DA). And do you prime the pad by spraying it, or do you spray it directly onto the paint? Thanks for the comment!

    Heat question

Hi all, I was dumb enough to forget my new unopened Klasse AIO bottle in my car yesterday night. This morning when I rushed to take it, the car temperature inside was really hot, and when I now shake the bottle, it sounds like it is very very liquidy like. It is now in a safe cool area. If I...

Will Irox X harm the brake caliper?

Other than a cosmetic damage, can it do actual harm to the caliper's function? That is quite a draw back of this product - I imagine most detailers will have a tough time spraying the wheel without having the caliper touched... I think I'll stick with Iron X for paint cleansing use only.

    CG Blacklight and V7... opinions?

Sounds like an interesting tip, maybe I'll try it someday. However I think this tip should go more to M105 users asking for how to apply advice, and less to BL users ;)

    CG Blacklight and V7... opinions?

With M105? Are you positive? That's quite a heavy compound to use along with Black Light... were you aiming at achieving good correction as well?

    CG Blacklight and V7... opinions?

From my research about what other people wrote and what CG write on their website, if applying by DA, you should use a finishing pad on 3.5-4 speed, applying no pressure if you're using as a sealant, or little to moderate pressure if using as an AIO. If you want to apply a second coat after...

Will Irox X harm the brake caliper?

Hi all, On the Iron X page it says it should not be applied on the brake calipers, however I think that no matter how hard I try, there's no way to completely avoid spraying it on them. Will it harm the brakes? Does anyone have a tip on how to safely spray Iron X on wheels so it won't harm...

    CG Blacklight and V7... opinions?

I've been doing tonns of investigating about the Black Light + v7 combo recently - everyone seems to be raving about it. From the reviews, it should give you a tremendous shine. In less than two weeks I'm going to try that combo along with the 5050 wax. That said, I'm not sure Black Light and...

Getting ready for my next detail - Need your advice

The thing is that my paint is in pretty good (even very good) condition and I don't want to achieve correction at this point. It's a daily driver which is parked outside 24/7, so I want to keep as much as clear coat as possible (I know I may use a very mild dedicated polish, yet there is no real...

A dog jumped up on my door

Video: How to remove shallow RIDS and how to machine apply both a paint sealant and a finishing wax Hi, I'm sort of new to detailing so I can't really give you much of a reliable advice, but check out this video by Mike Philips on how to remove shallow RIDS, etc. Very informative and helpful...
