    Dilution for pre soak

Regardless of RW brand, I always use the standard dilution as a pre-soak.

    Optimum power clean

I use it 3:1 or 4:1 for exterior cleaning like wheels, tires and even paint (mostly as a pre soak for bugs and tar). Don't let it dry on paint though! I'll dilute 10:1 for interior cleaning where I really need something strong. ONR (standard dilution) and Meguiar's Quik Interior Cleaner are...

    favorite drying towel

I've used the Duragloss plush drying towels and various waffle weave towels like the Meguair's Water Magnet and Cobras that are sold here. I must be in the minority that prefers the waffle weave. Seems like the plusher towels I've used didn't absorb as well for some reason. I do use a drying...

Optimum power clean APC dilution ratios

I'd agree. The 3:1 seemed too "hot" of a mixture for most interiors in my experience.

Gloss coat how many CC ?

I didn't think about cutting down the foam applicator. Surely that would limit the amount "absorbed" into the sponge and make for a little less waste. I'll give it a try.

    Just ordered some UTTG.

I use UTTG on well-maintained (not faded) trim. For trim that needs to be restored, Solution Finish is what I use. I've heard CarPro Dlux is a longer lasting option as well, but have no experience using it.

Duragloss Visits Autogeek to Showcase a NEW Product!

Awesome! Duragloss is the first auto detailing brand I remember as a kid to wash my parents cars. My uncle ran a CarQuest and always gave us some for Christmas. I still use it today and I'm sure this stuff will be great!

Safest Not At Home Car Wash

I go through the touchless car wash, but first I pre-spray the wheels, tires and any really dirty panels with Optimum Power Clean. I may even use a tire brush if they need it. After that, I drive home (not far) and do a rinseless or waterless wash in the garage. Works great. Ultima has a...

Best Way to Clean AIO Out of Pads

Try spraying with mineral spirits, working it in and then letting it soak in soapy water or ONR. I'll use a pressure washer sometimes as well afterwards. I just secure them on a grit guard when I do.

    cleaning inside of windshield

I've been a little Optimum Optiseal on windows that wouldn't come out right and its been great. Dries fast with no streaks. I do this in the interior and exterior.

    The ULTIMATE Sponge Comparison

Great review! Thanks for taking the time to do it. I've been using the BRS the most lately for my rinseless washes.

Preferred way to use Aqua Wax?

I use it primarily as a drying aid now. If you use it straight, be sure to go light with it. AW can cloud the paint as someone mentioned before, especially if you wash your car as often as we all do. I think this is what some may refer to when they say it can "mute the flake." I've got a...
