    Uploading Photos - Help!

Ok Mike, I've done all the steps as listed in your reply up to the point of how to insert the photos into my threads. They are the right size, labelled, and currently reside under my photos in "Upload Photos". How do I get them from there to thread???

    Taking off Dealers Sticker

:dblthumb2:I agree with you 100% Silverstone. I never let a dealer put his sticker on my car, new or old. That said, I have taken my share of them off and have had no problems. Never had to use heat, but just take it slow.

    Uploading Photos - Help!

Thanks Mike. I'll give it a try tonight and see how it works. I think I was getting hung up with the description - i.e., leaving spaces. Hopefully I can resize my photos using photo software on my computer.

    Uploading Photos - Help!

Have been trying to upload photos without success. And yes, I'm not real computer savy. Would much rather be polishing a car. Went to the "Upload Photos" section of forum, but found no directions. I know you have to reduce photo size, and bring it into the upload photo screen, but how?

How much product do you use?

One more thing. HeavyMetal, you were right, I was confusing the test spot with doing the entire car. Thanks for pointing that out!

How much product do you use?

Appreciate all the great advice! Like I said, I have 2 more cars to do and didn't want to run out of product on the first one. The paint on my 2 other cars is in pretty good condition - 2003 grey Accord and 2009 Pilot. Plan to clay and then start with WG PPE and work up from there...

How much product do you use?

Thanks. LegacyGT, the video was great! I don't think I had completely primed the pad as shown in the video. Now what about the answer to my last question: "Also, when you do a section, do you go through the entire polish/wax cycle for that section, or do you polish the entire car, then...

How much product do you use?

Ok, this past weekend I tried out my new polisher on my son's '97 Honda Accord wagon. This was my test case so only worked the hood and roof, as the rest of the car has a severe case of peeling. Results were great considering both hood and roof were so heavily oxidized I couldn't get it off...

    Flex 3401 Felt Ring Purpose???

Guess they fixed the problem because the manual with it doesn't mention anything about having to oil the felt ring?

    Flex 3401 Felt Ring Purpose???

Read you were suppose to apply air tool oil to the felt ring before using. No problem, I did it as shown by Mike in an earlier thread. But what is the purpose? It fits in a metal groove, but I couldn't see where the backing plate even made contact with the felt ring.

    Polishing Painted Plastic/Vinyl vs Metal?

Somewhere I recall a video talking about the differences in machine polishing plastic/vinyl car parts vs metal parts - i.e., car bumpers vs hood, roof, and side panels. Any differences or treat them the same? Or do you do plastic/vinyl by hand only?

    Pad Conditioner and Cleaner???

Silverfox - I'm a little new to this so explain ONR and APC. HeavyMetal - Looked at the link you sent on cleaning pads on the fly and Mike mentioned all the DA polishers, but mine that it works with. What about the Flex DA? Same proceedure?
