    Pits, scratches, etc.

I have a silver 2009 Dodge Calibur. I just drove it through my 1st winter (bought it last August). We had a BRUTAL winter here in New England and both bumper covers (plastic) took a horrendous beating. I have little pits in the paint (about the size of a pen point) and some scratches that are...

    Process Question

A couple of more process questions..................... And no laughing. Very new to this...................... I've had my car for 9 months and have never waxed or polished it. With the good weather now here, I want to do both. 1) After washing the vehicle, do I polish or wax? 2) Then how...

    Opinion/help PLEASE!!

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! This is way too weird!!!!! Wal-Mart recently had a sale on the Armor All car wash product, which I've always used and love, and the extreme shine tire spray. For craps and giggles, I picked up a bottle of the extreme tire shine and I just adjusted my application for the 3rd...

witch wheel cleaner do you use?

Straight up Windex with a clean MF towel. I didn't believe it until I tried it myself. But they really do pop when I'm done and it only takes 2 minutes.

    Is Tire Dressing needed?

I really love the high gloss look, but I can't seem to get away from 'slinging' and those ever so annoying black specks that wind up on my car. I've tried lesser amounts of products, different products (All Armor All), and up to 12 hours of drying. Nothing seems to work. Going to attempt...

The Official How Much Water Do You Use Thread Start to Finish

I don't know for sure, but I also give the car a very good rinse before washing, 4 gallons for the wash, probably 4-5 more for rinsing, and then I take the nozzle off the hose and let the water run over the entire car for a good 3-4 minutes. If I had to guess, I'd say close to 25-30 gallons per...

    Opinion/help PLEASE!!

Ah, the applicator. Yes, Armor All's applicator is horrible too. I get through a 1/2 bottle of product and the applicator is trashed. While I love the look it gives me, the slatter/slinging it causes just isn't worth it. I do like the high gloss look. I will look into the suggested products...

    Glass Cleaning 101

I've read where newspaper is a good tool to use to dry windows. Do any of you use this method and if so, is it good for inside and outside glass?

    Opinion/help PLEASE!!

When detailing rims and tires, I've tried Armor All gel and spray products. But no matter what I do as far as drying time or amount used on the tire, I can't seem to prevent little black spots from the product getting on my car. It drives me ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!!!!!! So I'm looking for opinions...

Hello. This is my 1st post on this site. I just found this site the other day and just got my account activated. My name is Chris and I own a 2009 Dodge Calibur that I'm very fond. Keeping it immaculate has become a bit of a passion for me and I'm always looking to better my ways in keeping...
