    Haha.. good suggestion. I was working on a small corner of the back glass to be safe.. I got 99% of the scratches out. One of my personal cars and the one that takes the biggest beating so no major loss :)

    Sorry for the confusion. I have the LC cutting pads right now.. so yes, the CP branded rayon pads may not do this. I used the CP pads on a Porsche 930 in Mike's detailing boot camp with no problem on the 7424XP. No scratches there.. but with these LC pads on both my 7424XP and my L3403; major...

    So, the orange LC pad wasn't doing much. I switched it to a yellow LC pad, ceriglass, lots of water (it dries up after a single pass), and the 3403 is set to 2. It is taking forever, but the scratches are becoming less noticeable after about 6 passes. Just out of curiosity I tried the carpro...
