    I have this on my hood as well, have taken my car to big bear a few times, but she's never been repainted. Also, my hood gets super hot thanks to the 6.3L V8 that's crammed in there and 100 degree cali weather. I noticed it right after I used a DA last week. Pic:

    Sick of winter

    Move to cali! Just washed my car this weekend in 73 degree weather. The only thing you have to worry about here is earthquakes... and if a big one hits, keeping your car clean is the last thing you'll be worrying about :)

    Just tried Menzerna SF4000 with BuffnShine White Pad on my ceramiclear 07 Benz, one pass and I was able to remove about 99% of swirls. The deeper random scratches (RIDS) are still present. Might need to get more aggressive ?

    Read Mike's recommendation on one of the pages in the 'ceramiclear' thread and got: 1. 5 inch backing plate 2. Menzerna SF4000 3. white/black pads This will be my least aggressive approach. If it doesn't work i'll move up to SI 1500
