Sorry to be ignorant here, but what does the acronym IPA stand for, isopropyl alcohol?

    iPhone Autogeek App

I agree that the iphone/ipod touch app needs a lot of work. Don't get me wrong, I do like some of the features like "Videos" & "How-To's", but the "Shop" & "Forum" sections are just useless. It is easier to browse those sections using Safari (apple's web brower). I am hoping an update will...

    Need help with glass polishing

I am trying to remove some scratches from the front windshield of my '06 Acura TSX. They were caused by old wiper blades or dirt imbedded in the blades, not sure which one as I did not own the car when this happened. There are fine scratches all along the path of the wipers that you can feel...

Which lights are better for correction

I hear ya. All of my garage outlets are on one circuit but the exterior GFI right outside of the garage door is on a different one so I will use that when needed.

Which lights are better for correction

Make sure the total wattage of the cart does not get too high, especially if this is for a mobile business. With a set of 1000W lights, fluorescents, buffer, and possibly other items all going to one outlet you could trip the breaker. Most likely you will be fine, but just run the numbers...

    Polishing a ProCharger?

I've used the Mother's power ball on some polished parts and it works great. I don't think that it will fit in all the nooks and crannies around that turbo though.

Petrucci Detailed: Volkswagen Red Jetta TDI

Yeah, definitely a great job. Thats funny that you listed the Fenix TK10 flashlight. I use my Fenix TK11 for the same thing. . . among others (those are bright ass lights considering there is only one Cree LED blub in there). It does a great job of showing the imprefections, too many in my...

Thanks Matt, I did end up purchasing that WG sealant, so that is good news. I am excited to get started.

Are the "Pinnacale Twins" the right product for these swirls?

Hey Pie, let me know how it turns out. I might be able to get started on mine today. Nasty weather coming in this weekend so that is out of the question.

Hey bodavenport, I do know of a few shows around and have seen others but don't know if they are reoccuring or not. Auto Expo: NC Auto Expo | Raleigh Car Show | North Carolina Auto Show Mainly just manufacturers showing off their new cars, but there are some muscle cars. Carolina Collectors...

Will spiderweb/cobwebing come back on their own after polishing?

Hey A4, good work on quitting smoking! The first three monthes are the hardest, it gets easier from here on. Try to stay away from other smokers, including the ones at the bars. Thanks for the info, so you are saying that there is no technical difference between the two right? So spiderwebs...
