i was once told that you clay if its needed regardless if your machine polishing. because it uses the contaminants as extra abrasives.

as long as you wax, the polish is underneath, and will be "protected" with gold class i would recommend re applying every 3-5 weeks.

i use mothers chrome polish with a powerball and a hi speed Milwaukee drill

well.. il start off easy. i will say there are good detailers at dealerships. but a good majority arent. like where i work for instance the other detailer.. when he buff's, ALWAYS HAS THE BUFFER TILTED ON ITS SIDE and always makes holograms and may be burning the paint. ok. well how is he titled...

i usualy start by taking out floor mats and trash, then i work on wheels,tires, and wheel wells. the motor gets washed. then i look for the amout of bugs and tar(so i know what products to use) then i wash and dry, then i vacuum and shampoo if it is needed(shampoo the mats also) while the floor...
