I'm looking to purchase another set of products for my brother and narrowed it down between these 2 product lines. I actually use a combination of Pinnacle, Poorboys, and Adam's on my C6 but don't have any overlapping products. I was looking for an overall comparison of each of there product...

I've been told that a Sealant over a glaze is a no-no. It doesn't adhere to the paint as well because of the oils in the glaze. :confused:

I put mine in for about 20 minutes at low heat. Then set them out to dry. Seem to be holding up pretty good. Just makes sure that you aren't using a bounce sheet. I just recently purchased a little electric blower to dry my C6. I think it blows at 150 mph and cost me like $40-50 from...

I helped a buddy detail his C5 several weeks ago. He had light swirls and a water spots. After a wash and clay we used XMT #2 with a Orange LC pad, and XMT #1 with a white LC pad. I then topped with WG deep gloss paint sealant and the next day added some souveran. It was a thing of beauty. I...

I did. It was a pretty cool thing Jay did and the show was enjoyable. But I have to say that I didn't like all the mods he had done on the C6.....it was a bit overkill. The Corsa sounded pretty good but I'm in love with my new Borla Sport (stinger) sound. :righton:

That's what I thought. I had no idea that AG carried Megs pads. Wow....learn something new every day. Thx killr! :awesome: Just put my order in. Man....I think I'm approaching spending more on AG than mods for my C6. Good thing I put these purchases on the credit card I hide from my wife. :D

What is the Megiur's burgundy cutting pad equivalent in Lake county pads? I can't figure out if this is a light, medium or heavy cutting pad. Thx, :cheers:

I've personally never used Mother's but I've heard it works great. I've only used Pinnacle and Adam's...both really good products. I'd recommend claying while you wash so that your car is nice and lubricated. I'm not sure if the Mother's clay system comes with a lubricating spray so if not...

NB is worth trying. I just ordered some and I swear by Souveran nub paste. I also follow with Pinn Crystal mist and then with Adam's Detail Spray. It's a wet-ness like no other. My $0.02. :cheers:

I'm still trying to find the right solution for my beat up '96 chevy pickup. I've tried XMT #2 and #1 which got ride of most of the marring and swirls but didn't get the deeper scratches. I've really been debating on whether I should wet sand it but wouldn't even know what grit of sand paper...
