Try Meguiars Hyper Wash and its 400 to 1 mix ratio!!! That's 1 ounce to 5 gallons. I do the same as Cardaddy I can easily wash 2 vehicles with a single wash bucket. I dump my rinse bucket after first wash and re-fill with fresh rinse bucket for second wash.

I use a Montana 10" Boars Hair Wash Brush, or Wool Mitt, or MF Mitt. I just started using Boar hair this summer. It really cleans great holds water and suds. I use a 3' wood handle super easy to agitate in my rinse bucket.

I use grit guards in both my wash and rinse buckets. I see very small if any amounts of grit/debris in the bottom of my wash bucket. The bulk of any grit/debris will be in the bottom of rinse bucket.
