Chemical Guys Leather Ruined my steering

I use CG leather conditioner faithfully in my mobile business. I have used it on countless vehicles with every type of leather including aniline, and it has always performed beautifully. I can not speak for the cleaner because I do not use it. I have condition quite a few infinity interiors...

    Micro scratches on interior

Use either a compound or polish depending what your little test spot tells you and polish by hand. I’m pretty sure I remember Mike Phillips having an article or at least a post on that very subject.

    Makita P5000 DA discontinued?

My Makita rotary is a beast! It absolutely kicks ass. She’s a little heavy but has power to no end. I use it pretty much exclusively for headlight resto, and the odd Polishing job I do on big equipment and stainless tanker trailers.

    Not quite there.

Sorry to hear about the parking lot injury. Lol Honestly, if it where me I wouldn’t worry to much more about it. Chips aren’t easy to get perfect. If it looks good from 10’ I think your winning for a daily driver. The more it goes to parking lots the more dings you’re gonna get. Lol. Seems...

Question on swirl remover vs. finishing polish

You’re paint looks in pretty decent shape. If it where me, I would hit it with a good one step cleaner wax like HD Speed. You can even go 2 steps with the cleaner wax if you like. First pass with a polishing pad, and second pass with a finishing pad to buff off any haze you made with the...

    Waterless washing in garage messes

When I say HEAVY polishing, I mean just that. For example a whole car 3 stage polish job. Not so much polishing with a one step, but a one step is still moving clear coat to a minor extent. I really think your overthinking this. Just be careful when you’re washing. Fix paint when it...

    Waterless washing in garage messes

How often you can polish depends on the thickness of your clear coat ultimately. Lol. I wouldn’t do any heavy correction more than once or twice a year if that. If I where you I would consider using a one step cleaner wax like HD Speed as long as your marring isn’t too deep and aggressive...

    3 Bucket Wash

The only problem I can foresee with that method for myself is when I wash multiple vehicles in a day, I will need an awful pile of wash mitts. I have well over a dozen already, but I think I’d need more on a busy day. Lol

    3 Bucket Wash

Great Advice!!! Thanks a lot man. Sometimes it’s hard to see the forest for the trees so to speak. Lol That is actually a far more efficient way not having to take the time to fill, empty, clean and stow an extra Pail. Thanks again for the great advice!!

    3 Bucket Wash

Thanks Mike. I live and work in an area that is pretty rural. Where not far north of Toronto here so there’s a lot of money and a lot of nice cars, but also a lot of gravel roads, and farm fields. Needless to say I don’t do many Waterless or rinseless washes. Lol. A lot of the vehicles...

    Waterless washing in garage messes

Simple answer is. Wash your car whenever you feel you need to. The more you touch your car with any method of washing the more chance you have of marring the surface. Don’t worry about the garage floor too much. Buy yourself a floor squeegee and squeegee the floor if it gets too wet...
