after re reading all I can find I discarded from my list LC Komressor 6" pads due to many said those for rotary and for DA flats work better.

what backing plate did you get for Griots?

thank you for all your answers I asking those dump questions as I never used DA & pads and don't have 5.5" to see it on 6" plate I have no idea how it can be pushed and what will be in result I tried Griots 6" pad and it's so large when I tried to polish ... For sure I will not go with 7" pads I...

looks like it will be risk as I can damage paint by touching exposed back plate in corners or pad is so thick that plate will not touch?

are 5.5" pads required 5" plate? I have 5 3/4" plate

Hi all, What pads would you recommend for 2 cars only - no pro usage for Griot Garage 6" DA? How many pad will I need for one car polish? I don't plan to polish both cars the same day. So far I found Kompressor 6" pads kit, CCS 6.5, HT 6.5, Meg's 7" thanks for links.

yes, I ordered from Automotivetouchup yes, I'll take and add pics when I start. So far I'm in planning and getting all parts / tools I need. I don't know if need more pads and what kind for polishing.

As I said - I was not able to use spray :buffing: and yes, it took me like a 30 min to tape newspapers around each headlight - isn't easy for angle lights but, mix spar with minerals and apply it took me may be 5 - 10 min and I got way more control over what I do this way. While spray has to be...

did you use spray on headlights already? :Picture: Do you need Minerals in that case? I think you can't use Minerals. I was not successful with spray - was very ugly in my case.
