    Paint thickness gauge

The newest similar thread is pushing 4 years old at this point. I had also read the thread PM5C referred to. Just looking for specific brands People might have tried. I have no problem spending a couple hundred if I can find one that works well enough to help avoid issues.

    Griots g9 broken?

Well mine should be here tomorrow. Pretty impressive considering the faulty unit was picked up by fedex on Monday. Not really sure they would have even had a chance to look at it before they shipped a package to me on Thursday. I guess I’ll know tomorrow if they replaced the cord, the polisher...

    Griots g9 broken?

Initially mine was difficult getting it to snap into place. It eventually worked itself in. When it started to fail, it seemed to happen as I looped the cord over my should and placed the pad against the car. This put some upward tension on the cord so I thought it must be the cord. However I...

    Griots g9 broken?

Hmmm. My g9 failed during its first real use. Would shut off. I would pull the trigger a couple of times and it might be fine till I moved to the next area. No rhyme nor reason. Thought maybe it was the cord but couldn’t make it fail. No start became more frequent till it would only run for a...

Cordless or corded right angle drill for carpet brush?

Was looking at rotary carpet brushes. I put it out on the forum and most said drill mount. Now I’m curious what the general consensus is regarding corded vs cordless RA drills. Bonus points (for me)if you recommend a brand.

Rotary carpet brush. Polisher or Drill

I like the idea of a polisher mounted brush. Just seems due to the low profile it would be easier to get around. If I go that route I might just buy a cheap polisher and dedicate it to brushes
