Jescar power lock sealant over jetseal?

Given your 2 choices and your desire to put down 2 layers, I would use the Jetseal first because I consider it only a slightly more durable version of their Mirror Glaze. It reminds of those other acrylic glazes that CG has too. So I would apply like a glaze like Blacklight and take advantage...

    P21S polishing soap

That Lake Country sponge looks like a really good replacement.

Video: 10-month ceramic coating update! + Chemical torture test!

I don't think we are in as much disagreement as you think. I also instruct my customers on how to maintain the coating and provide with Echo detailing spray. I would love to think that they carry out my instructions correctly, but I know that's not happening. If people were so into their cars...

    P21S polishing soap

I tried a piece of bug scrubber foam block but it is noticeably stiffer than the P21S one. I was thinking one of the Turf Shine orange applicators. If you sliced it into maybe 3 pieces like a loaf of bread. They would be a good size to work with on exhaust pipes. They are pretty tough but don't...

Review - CarPro Tire Swipe Applicators

That's a logical redesign. I had bought some tire swipes from the dollar store too that had a similar shape. However, the foam was flimsy including the handle part and the glue holding the 2 foam pieces together failed the first time you tried to clean it. What are the Eagle One tire swipes...

    Mother's CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING

He hasn't responded in any of the Autopia or AG threads about CMX pretty much since CMX was released and the hype was quickly being called into question.

Flex 3401 counterweight rusting. Is this normal?

Its bare metal. Of course it will develop a layer of rust eventually. Remove the counterweight, remove the rust and spray it with some clear if it is that worrisome.

Video: 10-month ceramic coating update! + Chemical torture test!

I would say that probably 90% of the cars that I put coatings on do not get any toppers by the owners. Most people are not 'Geeks' like mentioned. They have the coating applied and they will wash it. That's it. So understanding the durability of the coating all by itself is very useful...

    Lets talk about Iron Removers

The CG iron remover goes on sale a lot and if you combine the sale price with one of their coupons you can get a gallon in the $50-60 range.

    Duragloss at big box?

Duragloss shipping is only $5. It ships from NC. I've never had a problem ordering from them. Bottles came with the caps taped.

Hyperdressing on felt wheel well liners

I did not do this on my own car when it was new, but I did consider this. I was going to spray the felt liners with camping grade silicone water proofer. I felt anything expensive would be a total waste of money

    Coating dashboard gauge plastic?

I used Carpro Essence primer then Essence Plus on the swirled gauge cluster cover on my Nissan Frontier. I used these 2 to hopefully fill in the swirling as much possible. It did a really good job. Not perfect but the swirls don't bother me as much. It has been 3 years and it still looks...

    Paint thickness gauges $10-$15

They do have PTG that will display the thickness of each layer based on the differing densities. They are like $2500 and up though.

I will use PERL on interior vinyl at the 5:1 dilution. Nice satin look to sun faded and dried out vinyl.

Flagged tipped brush & Duragloss #253

That's cool. It really is a good cleaner. Be careful, a good buddy used it to degrease and clean the floor of his new detail shop. He had chemical burns in his lungs so bad that he couldn't work for like a month.

Suggestions for applying Ceramic in Honeycomb grille

A lot of patience. I hate those new Lexus' because of that grill all models except for the LS have. If airbrushing the DLUX is not an option then pieces of cut MF, foam tip applicators and cotton swabs. Northern Tools stores sell packets with hundreds of different sized industrial purpose...

Can I remove curb scuffs from tires

Cleaning the tire can minimize it, but in my experience the only thing that makes it go away is time when they are bad scuffs. As the carbon black and the petroleum wax embedded in the tire rubber works its way to the outer surface it will go away. The tire is trying to heal itself, kind of...

Mothers CMX vs Sonax Polymer Net Shield long term durability test

Sounds like the CMX is a disappointment. Regardless of the beading, it doesn't sound like it is protecting the paint that well either.
