Powerlock always looked really good on reds. Fuzion is a good looking wax for reds. The spray wax is really good. It always makes colors more vibrant to my eyes.

You could also try to pull it off by applying a piece of masking tape over the clay spot and then pulling it off. Worth a try.

Schaeffer's Citrol 266 and Goof Off Overspray Remover are two other products that have removed stubborn stains for me.

I'm assuming that Glass Weld Pro Clean is abrasive if you're using steel wool. Is it s pure chemical spot remover? I wouldn't use steel wool on the paint.

It would be water droplets with ash and and other burnt residue embedded most likely. It could be made from burnt residue from all the different house materials. You could try a water spot remover. It is acid based. A cement remover may be useful too.
