    Door Panel Screwed? 2004 Gallardo

That looks too far gone. The leather shoe stretcher sprays are like 90% ipa. You're over stretched, but maybe if you wet the leather with 90% ipa and then let it dry or maybe force it dry with hair dryer you may get some shrinkage. The ipa evaporates quickly after wetting the leather fibers...

Used DA polishers - what to look for?

Yes, but only on my own polishers. Usually cord or brushes. I've bought 2 used machines in the past but there were no problems.

Used DA polishers - what to look for?

I would check to make sure that the power switch locks and doesn't slip out of position (failing switch) and that all of the positive stops on the speed dial are working. Check that the running machine's power is steady and doesn't ebb-n-flow (brushes going bad). I would bend the power cord...

    Cut the cord or no?

I've tried the cordless rotary and the orbital at a local detail supply store. I loved the feeling of the cordless rotary. I felt the weight of the battery was not an issue and it was balanced and loved the freedom to be able to change the polisher positions without worrying about the cord...

    PE8 oil leak??

I think my PE8 dumped some oil the last time I used it. I got it on my hands and wasn't sure if it came from the polisher or if I got something on the polisher first. Really hate it when top dollar tools fail.

1990 GM Black Paint - Advice needed

Nissan Black paint just does that. I've had 2 black ones. My current one is a 2001 (got it in 2015) and it had the crows feet before I ever polished anything. My previous truck had it really bad before I started getting into polishing.

    Mother’s CMX is here!

If anyone has the products, testing how CMX performs being applied on top of products like Carpro Essence primer, BF Primer or Gyeon Primer polishes compared to a bare surface would be very helpful.

    Carpro triple threat

I apply Essence+ with the Carpro gloss pads by machine (GG6). I usually also apply the Essence primer with the gloss pads. Kind of like a jeweling step. I don't try to get any correction out of it. I let the primer cure for as long as I can. The combo of the fillers leaves a very smooth...

    Carpro triple threat

I've applied Essence and then Essence+ to several cars. I'd say that you can get about 10 months out of it. I have had several cars come back at the 10 to 12 month range and they are still beading. These are people that do not apply any toppers, they just wash the car. They have been very...

Reccomend a Wax over Sealant for me. Or Not?

Powerlock always looked really good on reds. Fuzion is a good looking wax for reds. The spray wax is really good. It always makes colors more vibrant to my eyes.

Accidentally got clay under vinyl stripes. How to remove?

You could also try to pull it off by applying a piece of masking tape over the clay spot and then pulling it off. Worth a try.

Help - Fire Hose Stuff on My Paint

If you can fleck them off with your fingernail they must be topical then and not etched. Mechanical removal may be your only choice if you don't want to try any more chemical cleaners. Might want to see how easy it is to remove them by polishing a small panel. I've seen tar and sap spots laugh...

Help - Fire Hose Stuff on My Paint

I'm assuming that Glass Weld Pro Clean is abrasive if you're using steel wool. Is it s pure chemical spot remover? I wouldn't use steel wool on the paint.

Help - Fire Hose Stuff on My Paint

A glass polish would destroy the finish. Only you know how much its been marred with your cleaning so far. The coating should be chemically resistant to the cleaning products so far, but I'm sure there's probably a new mark here and there by now from the rubbing and claybar by now. Can you...

Help - Fire Hose Stuff on My Paint

It would be water droplets with ash and and other burnt residue embedded most likely. It could be made from burnt residue from all the different house materials. You could try a water spot remover. It is acid based. A cement remover may be useful too.
