    Finishing Polishes?

Oh I am. One thing I've learned over the years in my profession, which is not detailing, is that almost everyone has something to bring to the table from which I can learn. Further, you then have those individuals that are very knowledgeable and when they speak, listen. This is what makes these...

    Finishing Polishes?

This is timely information for me to be sure. In fact I am going to place an order today, and so I will add one of these to it.

    Finishing Polishes?

I had meant to but forgot to ask what would be a good APC to use as you have suggested here?

    Finishing Polishes?

Isopropyl Alcohol. Wow. That is the first I've heard of this. Is it diluted or full strength? Do you need to wash after using it? Although I'm guessing it mostly evaporates anyway. Very interesting. I had absolutely no idea. I don't have any close up pics of it that would show it's condition...

    Finishing Polishes?

I very much appreciate the responses and sharing of knowledge and information. I need to ask what "IPA" means. And in part I asked this question because while I buffed my new car recently using the PC and LC CCS orange pad with Pinnacle's Advanced Swirl Remover, and while the car is...

    Finishing Polishes?

I recently started a thread and asked how many times one could buff a car using a PC, light cutting pad and light swirl remover. This is a follow up to that thread/question but is two part. With a PC and a polishing pad, will much or even any clear coat paint be removed? And can it be used to...

    pinnacle advanced swirl remover opinions

I too watched the video and was very impressed. To me there were three immediately apparent benefits: no dust, full coverage of the pad and one product used with different pads as opposed to different products and different pads. I want to give this product a try some time.

'10 Camaro SS - Terrible 9k Mile Car

Simply amazing. Very impressive. Would love to have seen even more pics. Such good work by others never ceases to amaze me. That last pic brought to mind that song where the line goes, "I can see for miles and miles and miles...".

    Rejex update.

What was on the rest of the car? Or was anything on the rest of the car? I ask because if the rest of the car had another sealant on it and put on at the same time, it would be interesting to see some of those pictures for comparison. And thanks. I've been waiting to hear about this product...

How many times can it be buffed?

Thank you Mike. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Appreciate the link too. I read through it. I see what you mean in the very good points you've made. And yes, swirl prevention is something I strive for as we all do. But sometimes I think clear coat paint gets them just from a...

    Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

Back in '04 and '05 I used the Wolfgang's sealant and then after a couple coats would top it with the Souveran, but I also had my truck under a carport. There were plenty of days where it was very hot and humid when I applied it, but I never found that to be an issue. I also found that the...

How many times can it be buffed?

Well, I appreciate the responses of course. And they are to some extent what I expected. I want to know, as you asked, whether a car could be safely buffed given the tool and product I mentioned, say three or four times over a ten year period, once a year, once every two years or whatever...

How many times can it be buffed?

Starting with a new car and it being a daily driver, if one uses the PC DA and a light swirl remover and pad, how many times can the car be buffed and perhaps followed with a polish over say a ten year period? In short, even if only a very minute amount of paint is removed, in time a limit must...

What product to protect wheel covers?

Appreciate the replies. Yes, I am referring to the hubcaps made of plastic. I appreciate the ideas. Nothing came to mind, so this gives me some ideas and a good starting point.

What product to protect wheel covers?

I've always had the alloy wheels, but the car I have now has wheel covers. So I am trying to think of something that might work on this plastic that would protect them and keep them looking good over time. Since there is no paint, I'm thinking sealant or wax would not bond. Is there a product...
