Considering trying a new rinse-less wash...

D114 is the stuff that leaves nothing behind right? One thing I like about ONR, the regular ONR, is that it leaves a little something behind. In the summer, it's not uncommon for me to wash the car 2-3 times per week. The more I wash it, the glossier it gets (maybe it's in my head, but then...

Considering trying a new rinse-less wash...

What makes it stand out to you? I'm a big Meguiar's fan btw. Before my AG days, I used primarily Meg's OTC products, which are great OTC products for sure btw.

Considering trying a new rinse-less wash...

Despite all the positive reviews of IUDJ, it's hard for me to get on board with a "do-it-all" product; I think it's the detailer in me. It just doesn't compute, lol. I had good luck the last time I dried my car when I used Optimum Instant Detailer as a drying aid. I might keep trying this and...

Considering trying a new rinse-less wash...

I've used ONR for years and like it, but I have an itch to try something new. My only complaint with ONR is that my car is tough to dry. I'm not saying ONR is causing this either, but I'm thinking about trying something else. Does anyone know of a rinse-less wash that's super easy (slick)...

What is the deal with cleaning tires?

I did this. I'd like a brush attachment, now that I have the 4" plate for my Flex, how would that work?

What is the deal with cleaning tires?

I use OPC at full strength. Even after four or five rounds on one tire, I'm still getting brown. Do clean tires do this or what am I doing wrong? They're relentless! I've experienced this on multiple sets too.

What day do you typically wash your car?

I ONR in the garage. In the summer I pretty much wash it whenever it's dirty, sometimes two or three times a week. I have a small 350z, and it takes less than 30 minutes for wheels, tires (UTTGP), and car. If I really move I can do it in 20 min.

What you're saying and what you said makes sense, in fact you're probably right. I just have this unquenchable desire to be "sure" all the time. I'd like to hear it directly from the Dr. Sberk- thanks for posting up a review!

Not necessarily, but the question of interest here regards coatings. So, in that case, yes, I think daily drivers are much, much, much more likely, as a percentage, to be coated than garage kept classics.

In a case of an even numbered sample/population, the median equals the sum of the two "middle" numbers divided by two. It doesn't just fail to exist in such a case.

How THICK could that coating possibly be?

Maybe it expands once you apply it or something? Who knows. Good thread. Interested in what Dr. G says to you.

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

A hybrid of what? It's not a wax/sealant hybrid obviously. Also, while I understand a wax/sealant won't last as long on a black car in Arizona, are you sure that's the case with coatings? I think the gloss coat is going to be awesome stuff (how are there no reviews yet??!!!!), but I still...

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

It bugs me that Dr. G said he refuses to respond to any more comments, as well as the fact that he didn't comment at all about the durability of gloss coat as it compares to 2.0.

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

Let's say there are 10 cars on the road today in America. Here are their respective ages: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11, 16, 34, 70. Average age: 15.6 years Median age: 10 years. The average age of cars in the U.S. isn't very useful when trying to determine how many cars on the road would be...

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

Well, if the median is 8, you know 50% of cars on the road are 0-8 years old. It would be nice to know what the median and average age of cars actually driven (daily) are. Wonder if it would differ.

Right, the median age would be much more meaningful in this instance.
