That's a good question. I remember seeing in one of Mike's posts that the cc thickness should be around 50 microns (2 mils). Considering a 'healthy' paint measuring 150, then ~30% is cc. Considering the combo I used on this car, no more than 2 microns were removed. :dblthumb2:

Wasn't too hard...harder than BMW. Used RUPES Polisher + Rupes Yellow PAD and SONAX Perfect Finish. The owner just wanted to give some life back to the car, not a showroom finish so we had a win-win scenario with that combo :)

2012 Black Camaro, needed some extra care. Hood was repainted on the dealership due to some failure on the paint. Has been badly polished and as expected, lots of swirls came as a "bonus". Actually, the swilrs were so intense that they were hiding some defects left by the painter when resprayed...

Thanks Father87...used it straight. Actually, I removed the bottle from my Foam Lance and replaced by the soap. From what I have seen, using it diluted is not that effective. Good to apply with a brush on the wheels too...works nice

This beautiful weagon needed some extra care and protection. Lots of swirls and spiderweb all over the car + RIDS. 1. All wheels cleaned with various brushes and Malco Brake-Off (good stuff, removed all break dirt easily) 2. Body was pre-soaked with CG Honey Dew. Cracks and crevices brushed...

As the paintwork very neglected and hard, had to do a 3 step polishing, going from wool on rotary until Megs polishing pad on PC wil SONAX nano polishing. Dog scratches on the hood and front fender - had to wetsand but did not came off 100%, was not safe. Car was washed, clayed buffed, topped...
