Newb Help - Product / Company

Wow. Not sure how many members there are on this forum but that may be how many different responses you get. That being said I am new as well, and NOT a pro, and as I read the forum I looked for products that kept coming up, which there are several. I too wanted to take my cars to the next...

    which sealant?

I just finished putting BFWD on my black car this past weekend. Topped it with BFMS and it looks awesome. What got me is how easy the BFWD was to put on and take off. I used a DA to put it on, let it dry to haze(~15 minutes) and then the removal was really easy.

    Removing Compound/Polish Dust before LSP

I am sure this is answered somewhere but I could not find it. I used Blackfire SRC Compound and Polish today on my Black car with a GG6, standard backing plate, and LC CCS orange and white pads. The results with the polish/compound turned out good and the car is garaged now and and I plan on...

    Exploding Pad

Thanks for the response David. I have a brush and additional pads and will be using them in future. You always have to learn with a new hobby. I appreciate all of the input and advice and next time pads won't be flying across the garage.

    Exploding Pad

Thanks it all makes sense and I am just glad I didn't damage the car. Rack it up to experience and I am very grateful for all of the feedback. I will use all of the advice and feedback the next time the GG comes out of the box.

    Exploding Pad

I really appreciate all of the feedback and will check the heat next time but if anything I don't think that I am am putting enough pressure on the pads, I guess I am still scared that I will swirl the paint. The pad was rotating, I have a line on the backing plate to make sure. Thanks again...

    Exploding Pad

Wow that was quick. Thanks to all. To answer your questions: Yesterday was a cool day -60 and the small car was in the garage. I did use one pad, guess I will use more in the future, but did not notice any steam or it being hot when it popped. I was careful not to use too much product, watched...

    Exploding Pad

First off I am new but I am guessing this is not a common problem so I am guessing that I did something wrong or got a bad pad. I did a forum search and found a couple of other posts but they didn't explain how or why this can happen. Here is what I was doing/using 1. Brand new Lake Country...

    Nanoskin questions

I am a newbie but I wanted to know the difference between clay and Nanoskin. I have the Blue Mitt and compared this to some Pinnacle clay. For me, again not a pro, I found the Nanoskin was easier to use and did just as good as job as the clay. No kneading, folding or fear of dropping the clay...

    DP Turbo Car Dryer Review

Great point on the GFCI. I used my DA polisher this weekend and had run the cord through some water and could not figure out why it would not work. Thank goodness for the GFCI outlet.
