    2012 BMW 3-Series Unveiled!

Overall it looks fine. I dislike the new headlights on it. I also don't like how the screen on top of the dash looks like it's been added as an afterthought. I prefer the previous gen with it integrated into the dash in order to keep the sun from washing out the screen. But it's still a BMW, and...

    I pre-ordered the iPhone 4GS....

I think the pre-sales dictate that customers are happy with the phone as it is. Apple has never caved to consumer pressures anyway. I'm not going to eliminate the fact that they may make a larger screen at some point, but I think it's less likely.

    I pre-ordered the iPhone 4GS....

What pressures? They just presold a million phones? I don't think they're really concerned about market pressures.

    I pre-ordered the iPhone 4GS....

Agreed, the processor, camera, and Siri (voice command system, AI) are huge updates with the phone. The next phone will most likely have an upgraded, or faster processor, and support LTE. Screen size is debatable. There are now several studies conducted that say the ideal screen size is pretty...

    I pre-ordered the iPhone 4GS....

Well Apple has changed that. $0 for the 3GS and 99 for the iPhone 4. Brings it very much inline with a lot of those other products.

    I pre-ordered the iPhone 4GS....

I preordered the 4S. I'm on AT&T. Can't wait for the new features and the improved camera. I've realized that I don't even carry a point and shoot anymore, and the camera upgrade may be worth the upgrade alone.

    RIP Steve Jobs

It's a sad day indeed. Steve has influenced so many people, and in ways many don't comprehend. He will be missed by consumers, competitors, and pretty much everyone in between, but none more than his family. My sympathies to his wife and children.

Help me getting rid of these "scratches"

If you just want to fill in with color, Dr. Colorchip is the way to go. However, with that kind of deep damage, you'll always see where the spots were. I recommend a respray. Buffing won't smooth that out. Your other option is to try to do it yourself. Remove the bumper cover, sand it down...

    2007 Chevy Suburban Painted Trim

ride5150 gave you the right idea. Clay, M105, then M205, then seal/wax. You'll need to get a buffer to do it though. I'd mask the paint around the trim so you don't catch the paint on the panel with the side of the pad. This will let you be a bit more aggressive correcting the top of that trim.

    failed smog - california

By unplugging the battery you reset all the codes. That definitely caused you to fail the inspection and why it threw the codes it did. Just have to drive it a bit more. For your car, you may want to call the dealer and ask how long it needs to reset.

    failed smog - california

I had the same issue with my Vette. I left the battery disconnected for some time because it kept losing charge, so when I went for the inspection it failed. I didn't even think about the computer clearing its memory when unplugged. You'll have to just drive it around a bit. Many cars you can...

    SSII....Strike 2!

You may want to try a different wax for in-between touchups. SSII, in my experience, works best on freshly prepped paint.

Leatherique on modern (coated) leather seats?

Usually you can do a water test. If you take a drop of water and place it on the seat and you see a water spot, then it isn't finished leather. If it just sits as a bead, then the leather is coated.
