How to use a one-step cleaner/wax to maximize profits

Old thread resurrection, but I wanted to ask whether there was some way to verbalize or illustrate the difference between a AIO/production paint detail and a multi-step/multi-product detail for a daily driver? Surely some may say the multi-step/multi-product detail is like the icing on the...

Tire & Trim Restorer on 12 year old Forester =\

I'm still awaiting some time and cooperative weather to get the Forester treated, but given the results of the test spot, I'm enthusiastic about the potential results. I'll be doing the body trim and windshield cowl. Am excited to get this weather-beaten car back into a more pristine shape.

Autogeek’s 12th Annual Detail Fest - Official Pictures Thread

Re: Autogeek’s 12th Annual Detail Fest - Official Pictures Thread I think the only thing missing are some daily drivers to illustrate how every day, regular, non-super cars can benefit from treatment with your line of products. I think it's easy for most people to expect the cars highlighted...

    Drying Towel

the product name seems to vary slightly between Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and the UK distributors.

    Drying Towel

Sorry it's not a PBM product However, if you do find it, it's made in 3 sizes (27.5" x 17.7", 27.5" x 35.4", 27.5" x 78.7") and there is currently no US distributor. I just bought the middle size one from the UK distributor. Maybe PBM will pick these up as a nice alternative to the Griot's PFM?

Tire & Trim Restorer on 12 year old Forester =\

Got in the SF tonight. Prepped and applied it to a small spot on the bottom inside of a rear wheel well part of trim. With the sun dropping and a flashlight, on outward appearances it seems to work. Will check again in the morning light. If all is well then I'll do the rest of the car and take...

    Drying Towel

So you wash the panel and then take a clean, but wet MF towel and go over the panel again and then follow with the same type, but dry MF towel?

    Undercarriage cleaning with what?

In the past I had gone so far as to jack the vehicle up as high as I could get it on jack stands, soak the undercarriage with Simple Green, scrub whatever I could get to with a brush, let it soak for a few minutes and then thoroughly hose it all down. These days, I'll probably use a pump...

Ken, That's kinda neat! I've seen people use lawn sprinklers to similar effect :)

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax on glass okay?

This thread isn't going down a productive path. I got my original answer. ONRWS would be less problematic for use on glass from what I have come to understand. Coatings are great and help minimize the impact of the elements on the clear coat and paint while also contributing to a less intensive...

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax on glass okay?

also, since I essentially have nothing beyond some buckets and towels, I'd need to spend several hundred dollars for the rest of the gear and product used in that TRC/Optimum Gloss-Coat video. Even if I stepped down to a Griot's DA, we're still talking a few hundred dollars. How do you justify...

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax on glass okay?

Thank you all for the input... I haven't ordered any rinseless solution yet. I do still have almost 2 gallons of Meguair's Gold and two bottle of Griot's Car Wash to use/blow through, so I'm not totally dying on the vine here as far as car washing soap. I stopped by to see my detailer friend...

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax on glass okay?

I am going to find out if my detailer will use a sealant. If not, then I'll have him go as far as a polish/correction and then I'll apply the Opti-seal or other sealant. I need to investigate the process for Optimum's Gloss Coat.

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax on glass okay?

Okay, well for the timing being my vehicles aren't going to have a pro-level coating on them. They're going to get pro-detailed, polished and waxed. So, when they're handed back to me, I'll need to maintain the wax. I thought maybe the ONRWW would help add luster to the existing wax and I could...
