I like to use a 50/50 mix of Alcohol and Distilled water after polishing to ensure that the polish is completely removing the defects and not filling.

Optimum Car Wax, Duraglass Aquawax, and Four Star UPPS are all great choices...

I have a detail coming up Sunday, and the owner is wanting the Leatherique process done to his seats. The problem is, is that it is not going to be very hot out (high is 75*) so are there any suggestions on how to get the Leatherique to work properly? Thanks, Steven

Thanks, it was two long days.... I was attemping perfection and even had to wetsand a few areas with 2500. But all in all, I am happy with the results!

This detail took part over two days and over 11 hours. The paint was in terrible shape and hadn't been polished in over a year. Unfortunately it has been raining :grrr over the last couple of days so no before shots. I used a UDM. EXTERIOR- Clay with Sonus Green clay Optimum Compound, orange...

On the newer Porsche's the paint is very, very soft.

If I were going to use Opti-Seal and Pinnacle Sig Series 2 on a Dark red metallic, which way would you layer it? (Opti-seal then Pin. Sig or vice versa?)

I couldn't agree more! Autopia truly has some of the best of the best. Another thing I like about Autopia is that it is has discussion about all products and not just certain ones. Although I love Autogeek and order most of my supplies here, if I am looking for an answer I check Autopia first.
